FAQ from hearing people: How does a deaf fireman manage in an emergency?
The same as any other person in the fire brigade of course!
Training is stringent and all fire personnel use signs because communication via speech during a large fire is often impossible 🔥

Dmytro arbeitet als Mitarbeiter in der Lagerlogistik Zustellbasis bei der Post im neunten Bezirk in Wien.
Er ist ursprünglich aus Saporischschja in der Ukraine. Dmytros Eltern sind auch gehörlos.
Seine Ausbildung zum Schlosser und Montagemechaniker hat er bereits 2008 abgeschlossen.
Seitdem er in Österreich wohnt, hat er bei equalizent Schulungs und Beratungs GmbH die österreichische Gebärdensprache gelernt und seit Sommer 2023 arbeitet er als erster Gehörloser bei der Österreichische Post AG.
Er ist von seinem Job begeistert und hat uns im Interview einen Einblick in seinen Beruf gewährt. Das volle Interview findest du auf YouTube:

Her tasks include collecting news stories from all over the world, in particular stories about deaf people.
