AADC Pulse: A Pulse Check of the Local Industry

South Australia’s creative industry is full of talent, ambition and world-class work. But the landscape is shifting fast.

That’s why we’re launching Pulse, an industry-first research project exploring the real state of creativity in SA.

Through honest one-on-one conversations with people across agencies, in-house teams, freelance and independent roles, we’re building a clearer picture of what it actually feels like to work in the industry today.

We’re currently seeking expressions of interest from people across the creative sector who’d like to contribute their perspective.

Matthew Clarke is a highly respected figure in Australian football, currently serving as Senior Coach of Glenelg Football Club in the SANFL. As a former AFL player, Clarke earned a reputation as one of the competition's most reliable ruckmen.

After retiring, Clarke moved into coaching as a long-serving assistant at Adelaide Football Club before taking charge of its AFLW program in 2018, helping establish one of women's football's most successful clubs, with premierships in 2019 and 2022.

Joining Glenelg as Senior Coach, Clarke is known for his relationship-driven leadership and focus on player development.

We look forward to welcoming Matthew Clarke as a panel guest on Tuesday April 14 to talk about imposter syndrome and how to tackle it.
