Meet Becky and Kylie!

So Wanda hopped in, Kylie leapt off the ground.

In Wanda out Yonder to the Coral Coast, the kid's will discover awesome places and learn some amazing facts along the way too!

Did you know... Emus are omnivores, they eat plants, fruit, insects and even small animals! They swallow stones to help grind up their food.
Geez, I learn some cool stuff writing these books 😆

Can you tell where Wanda met these two Aussie icons? its a pretty unusual place in WA.

It's been a little quiet on the Wanda front... but I've been busy drawing away, and she's just about ready for her next adventure!

If you've been following along since I shared some early sketches and storyboards, thank you for sticking with me. Bringing a children's book to life takes a lot of time, love (and cups of coffee!), but I'm so excited that I can finally start sharing more of what's been keeping me busy.

🌊 Wanda is back... and this time she's heading north!

She's packed her backpack, grabbed her camera, and is setting off to explore WA's incredible Coral Coast—from the Pinnacles to Ningaloo Reef—meeting some amazing new animal friends along the way.

Over the next few weeks I'll be introducing you to the wonderful characters Wanda meets on her journey, sharing fun wildlife facts, behind-the-scenes artwork and plenty of sneak peeks from the new book.

Pre-orders aren't open just yet, but they're coming soon! I'll let you know as soon as they're live, along with some exciting pre-order bundles.

Is this not the coolest little dude!? I love watching him with his weird little back and forth swaying walk 🤣 veiled chameleon at Perth Zoo

And love the “eyelashes” on the spiny-tailed gecko. Reptiles are so amazing!

There’s something special about slowing down, watching wildlife and waiting for that perfect moment when light, expression and timing all come together.
I just love the little cotton top tamarin, he was so curious about our camera noises, look at the head tilt 🥰

In a world of AI, it’s awesome to get out there and take real photos of really amazing animals at Perth Zoo
With a mix of cloudy and sunny weather changing it up, I was able to capture some stunning light and shadow throughout the day and took some really moody shots too.

What a bunch of cuties!

From rough pencil sketches to final colour .

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the illustration process for ‘My Bossy Brain’ written by the lovely Kristy Ambrose. This children’s book is designed to help kids and their parents to better understand and cope with OCD in a gentle, supportive way.

I always love sharing how an illustration evolves from loose concepts and messy brainstorming into a finished artwork full of colour, character and emotion. Seeing the journey side by side reminds me how much storytelling happens long before the final page.

I’ve loved working on this project and I’m excited to keep bringing these important conversations to life through illustration.

Still buzzing from the Busselton Festival of Triathlon weekend.

Not only did I take on the Busselton 50 and loved it, but I also had the honour of designing the branding for the festival’s 25-year anniversary. Seeing my work brought to life across the entire event — while being out there competing in it — was a pretty special, full-circle moment.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about contributing creatively to an event, then stepping into it as an athlete and experiencing it from the inside. So much heart, energy, and community spirit — it really was a great event.
Grateful to be part of it in more ways than one.
