Accountants do not want your number. They want your workings.

Hand over a figure and you get questions, because no one can sign off on a total they cannot trace. Hand over a reconciled file and every line already ties back to its source, so the review starts instead of stalling. Tax-ready hands over a number. Accountant-ready hands over the workings behind it.

Save this before your next accountant catch up.

Your exchange shut down. Your history went with it.

Platforms close, logins stop working, and the export button you were counting on disappears overnight. The record does not stop mattering just because the exchange is gone. Keep your own reconciled copy, so your history lives with you and not on someone else's server.

Save this if your history is sitting on a platform you do not control.

A screenshot shows a number. A record shows where it came from.

Your portfolio app gives you a figure and nothing behind it. No dates you can check, no source you can point to, no way to show how the total was built. Reconciled records trace every line back to the exchange or wallet it came from, so the number becomes something you can verify instead of something you hope is right.

Save this and share it with anyone whose records are a camera roll.

I only did a few trades. Then I counted 96.

A quiet year still adds up. A handful of buys here, a couple of sells there, and the count climbs faster than you would guess. Few trades or many, every one belongs in the record your accountant works from.

Save this if you thought your year was too small to bother with.

Date, time, amount, value. Miss one and it is not a record.

A row of numbers is not history. A record shows what happened, when it happened, and what it was worth at the time, with every line traced back to the source it came from. That is the difference between a number and a record.

Save this and check your own export against the four.

Two people. Two exchanges each. One dinner table argument.

When a couple both trade, the fastest way to a clean tax time is two separate records, not one tangled mess. Keep each person's exchanges reconciled on their own, sorted and simple, with nothing mixed up between you.

Save this and send it to your other half.

Calculated is a number. Verified is a record.

A quick total is easy to produce and hard to trust. CoinKeep verifies every line against its source, so what you hand over is a record and not an estimate.

Save this and share it with anyone relying on a single number.

Invite your accountant. They pull everything.

No more emailing files back and forth, no version chaos, no wondering which CSV is the current one. You share access once, your accountant grabs the reconciled report themselves, done. That's the handover, fixed.

Save this for when it's time to send it all over.

Three exchanges. One reconciled record.

Spread across a few platforms? CoinKeep pulls every exchange and wallet together and reconciles it into a single verified record, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Save this if your trading is spread across platforms.

12 swaps. 4 chains. 1 headache.

Token swaps across multiple chains are the fastest way to lose track of your own history. Every swap reconciled, every chain accounted for, untangled into one clean record instead of a knot of half remembered transactions.

Save this if your swaps are spread across chains.
