Finally got some fresh stock on the shelf!

Last week’s iPhone 13 Rescue Mission - 50% complete.

This iPhone 13 came in needing both a Front screen replacement and a Back glass replacement… and MY GOODNESS, the Back glass definitely didn’t want to leave without a fight.

4-6 hours spent carefully removing shattered glass piece by piece.. I was trying not to donate any blood to the repair gods during the process. (Thankfully no cuts this time round, gloves might be a good investment. I’ll ask the Boss)

And the good news about this repair?

✅ Free Screen Protector
✅ New screen fitted
✅ Back glass replaced

But while testing the device, I also noticed the battery isn’t too happy anymore. The battery percentage was jumping around, showing odd charging behaviour and going from low battery warnings to a completely full charged unusually quick.

A battery replacement is recommended when the owner is ready I’ll get that sorted too along with the rear broken camera senses as shown in photos.

The even better news? A dedicated back glass machine is on its way to FixMy iPhone. 🎉

Future back glass jobs should be faster, cleaner, and involve significantly less manual labour for myself giving me extra time for more repairs.

Not every repair is a screen or battery replacement. The odd jobs can be done.

Tonight’s job was an iPhone SE (2022) home button replacement for an old mate.

While the repair itself was relatively straightforward, every device at FixMy iPhone still gets the same level of care and attention to detail no matter the job or price.

📱 iPhone 11 Pro Max Screen Replacement

This was the 4th repair completed since launching FixMy iPhone.. so I figured it was time I started sharing a bit of what actually goes into a repair.

Most people only see the before and after, but there’s quite a bit involved in between for this repair the damaged display was replaced, the original front sensor and faceID assembly was transferred successfully, old adhesive was removed and replaced, the charging port was cleaned, the front-facing camera lenses were cleaned and the device was tested before reassembly and final seal.

As part of my business launch promotion, this customer has also receive a free tempered glass screen protector install and charging port clean as one of the first 10 repairs completed.

Thanks to everyone who’s trusted me with their repairs so far. More content to come!
