I recently had the privilege of designing the 2025 Annual Report for the Australian Childhood Foundation—an organisation I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with for over a decade.

Since 2013, I’ve helped design most of their annual reports, and during that time it’s been incredibly rewarding to contribute to the ongoing evolution of their visual identity and brand expression. Each year the challenge is to balance the weight and importance of the work they do with a design approach that is clear, engaging, and accessible.

This year’s report continues that evolution with a bright, optimistic and engaging visual direction—helping bring to life the stories, impact and people behind the Foundation’s work supporting children and young people recovering from trauma.

Designing reports like this is always a reminder that good design is not just about aesthetics; it’s about helping important stories be seen, understood and felt.

Really enjoyed working with the Danaro team to design their new Capability Statement!

We wanted to create something that not only looks great but truly reflects their brand values and strengths.

Always rewarding to see businesses like Danaro bring their brand to life through thoughtful design and clear communication.

🌟 Project Spotlight: Women’s Legal Service Tasmania 🌟

I recently had the privilege of working with Women's Legal Service Tasmania to completely overhaul their brand style guide — transforming a basic document into a comprehensive visual and communication toolkit.

Why does this matter?

Because a well-crafted style guide does more than look pretty. It ensures that every touchpoint — from social media tiles to fact sheets, PowerPoint decks to outreach posters — consistently reflects your organisation’s values, tone, and mission.

From logo usage rules and colour palette choices to photography style, Canva illustration guidelines, and accessible social media tile layouts — everything is now aligned to help them amplify their voice and impact.

✨ If your organisation is relying on a loose set of branding rules or a dusty old PDF, it might be time for a refresh. A consistent, thoughtful brand isn't just professional — it builds trust.

Pilates Point reached out to me when they were launching their new studio, looking for a brand that would make a strong first impression. They wanted a professional, eye-catching design to help them stand out from local competitors. At Cubbyhole Creative, I crafted their logo, business cards, brochures, and an A-frame board for outside the studio.

The result? A vibrant and memorable brand that truly connects with Pilates Point's target audience.

Three Rivers Department of Rural Health, a division of Charles Sturt University, sought to create and design some resources that encourage children and parents to participate in physical activities together. The project included designing and illustrating online brochures that could be easily understood by both parents and their children. The design was fun and engaging, with a sporty vibe, and the illustrations and icons added visual cues to enhance the user experience. To further support parents and their children, an accompanying interactive activity plan and review sheet was included, to be completed either digitally or by hand.

The Centre for Excellence in Therapeutic Care, a division of the Australian Childhood Foundation, sought to design and illustrate some educational resources to support their online training courses. These online resources have a unique and inspiring brand personality designed to engage and inform therapeutic specialists in the child trauma field. The resources feature illustrations and infographic diagrams that explain child brain development and the impact of trauma on the child’s brain and memory. CETC’s distinctive branding has been developed and implemented across multiple platforms. To explore more resources, visit the CETC website at https://www.cetc.org.au/.

I recently had the privilege of collaborating with the Southern Melbourne Family Violence Regional Integration Committee on a government report addressing men who use violence in intimate partner relationships. The report, along with its recommendations, was presented to Mr. Tim Richardson, Parliamentary Secretary for Men's Behaviour Change.
