⚠️ SCAM ALERT – Australia Post SMS doing the rounds
We’ve seen a number of people receive messages like this today:
👉 “We attempted delivery of your parcel…”
👉 Asking you to click a link to reschedule delivery
🚨 This is a scam. Do NOT click the link.
These messages are designed to:
• Steal your personal information
• Capture login details
• Install malware on your device
Red flags to look for:
❌ Strange web links (not auspost.com.au)
❌ Urgency like “act immediately”
❌ Asking you to reply “Y” to activate links
❌ Unexpected delivery notifications
Australia Post will never ask you to confirm delivery like this via random links.
What you should do:
✔ Delete the message
✔ Do not click the link
✔ Do not reply
✔ If unsure, go directly to the official AusPost website
If you’ve already clicked the link or are unsure, it’s worth getting your device checked.
We’re happy to help 👍
