I haven’t posted in almost a month.. Wow. Life has honestly just been full.

I’ve had client work, ceremony, design projects, yoga teaching, .roots, Alahara Creative, and all the in between human life stuff that doesn’t stop just because I run businesses.

And I think I’ve just been in this place of noticing my energy more.

Not everything needs to become content. Not everything needs to be shared straight away. Sometimes I’m sitting in deep work for clients or in ceremony or just moving through life and there’s no real space left to also be “creating for here” at the same time. Plus most of you have come to me by recommendations, and I am posting/blogging/marketing for my clients that when it comes to me.. I genuinely cannot be effed.

And I’ve realised I don’t want to force that anymore.

I’d rather come here when it actually feels like something is moving or when I genuinely have something to say.

So I’m not posting because of pressure. Only posting out of alignment.

I think as small business owners we forget sometimes that we’re allowed to ebb a bit. Especially when we’re doing it all on our own.

We don’t have to perform consistency. We just have to stay honest with where we’re at.

So this is just me saying, I’m still here.

Just moving a little differently right now. More intentional with what I take on. More intentional with where my energy goes. More intentional with what actually gets shared. Making sure my balance is my priority, and nothing else.

I flew to Brisbane for work.

That still feels a little surreal to say…

A creative immersive day with Renee from moving through the salon, capturing content, feeling into the space, the colours, the rhythm of what she’s built. Sitting with my laptop in between moments, letting things land as they came through.

There’s something about being physically in someone’s business that shifts everything. You can feel it. The energy, the intention, the way it actually lives and breathes beyond a screen.

And then the day softened.

We stepped out of the doing and into something deeper.
We sat in ceremony together for a few hours… no cameras, no content, just presence.

Tuning into her, her work, what she’s creating and where it’s wanting to go. And it’s exciting to say the least!

It’s hard to put into words what those spaces hold, but it felt really special to witness. To be trusted in that way.

This is the kind of work I want more of.

Not just creating for someone, but sitting with them.
Feeling the heart of what they’re building and bringing it into form from there.

April has felt like a month of movement. Not just internally, but in my actual life and work.

There’s been this fire to it… almost like a gentle reminder of Fire Horse energy. Aries season. Forward motion. Initiation. Things wanting to move, to travel, to expand.

I felt it in my body before I even had words for it.

Last week I flew to Brisbane for a creative immersive day with a client. Got on a plane, stayed in an Airbnb and stepped into a completely different rhythm of working and it felt really expansive for me. There’s something about physically moving for your work that shifts everything. It stretches how you hold it.

And alongside that, ceremony started to weave in more deeply again. Sitting with clients at the beginning of their business, tuning into what’s actually wanting to be created before anything has fully formed.

It feels like a return… but also an expansion at the same time.

Earlier in the year there was more backend structure, more admin, systems, the holding of things that needed to be put in place. And I respect that season deeply as it’s always necessary.

But April feels different. More open. More alive. More in motion.

There’s this moment that keeps happening with clients where things soften. The overthinking drops away. And what they’re building starts to feel clearer and it’s not because we’ve “figured it out”, but because we’ve actually slowed down enough to feel into it properly.

That’s the space I’m in right now.

Creating.
Holding.
Moving with what’s alive.
Sitting in ceremony when it calls.
Bringing things into form with intention.

I work best with people who feel that same fire in what they’re building. Who have something real to bring into the world, even if it’s still forming. People who are ready to move with it, to be held and trust the process as it unfolds.

Sometimes is the space I work from.

I don’t have a desk. I choose my workspace based on my energy that day.

Sometimes it’s the couch on the deck, laptop on my lap, trees moving around me, a slower pace to the day.

And from here… I create.

Soft.
Grounded.
Intentional.

The work I do isn’t just strategy or design. It’s sitting with your ideas long enough for them to actually land. Feeling into what’s there. Letting it take shape in a way that makes sense for you and your business.

There’s a steadiness to it. A pace that allows clarity to come through. Where things don’t feel forced or scattered, but supported and structured in a way that holds.

This is the space your ideas enter when we work together.

And from there, they become something real.

Tuning into my own energy each morning and beginning there is the most important. Energy is everything in how I work.

There’s something about sitting in silence.

My body softens. The noise drops away. And underneath it all, there’s a quiet knowing. I can feel what’s needed. I hear the guidance. I connect back in.

And then the ideas start to come. They’ve usually been sitting there the whole time… waiting for space to land. Waiting for the quiet moment where they can come forward.

I know a lot of people are holding things like that right now. Ideas, visions, pieces of a business, things they want to bring to life but haven’t quite found the way yet.

And if I’m honest… I feel such a strong pull to create.

To take what’s living in your mind, your notes, your energy… and turn it into something tangible. A website. A PDF. A design you can actually hold. Something that reflects what you’ve been feeling all along.

If you’ve been sitting with something quietly, waiting for the right moment… well this might be it.

Currently I’m in China, nannying for my best friend while she brings her business to life. And in the silence while he naps my own ideas, my own creative inspiration has been untapped. In the dark room, the silence, it all flows out.

So much has the chance to unfold in the silence, and holding others businesses in their silence, holding it in that space so I can create and flow for them, feels amazing.
