It's scam awareness week. This year's theme, "No one's just a number," highlights the real people behind scam statistics. Through the stories of Australians who have experienced scams, the campaign reminds us that every scam report represents a person, family or community impacted by criminal activity. The campaign encourages Australians to use 3 little steps: Stop. Check. Protect. to help recognise, avoid and report scams.

Paying bills online is convenient, secure and better for the environment, but scammers can make fake invoices look just like genuine bills 🧾💻

This Scam Awareness Week, learn how to spot the warning signs and stay safe with our free video course on protecting yourself against fake invoice scams.

In this short session, you’ll learn how to:
🔎 identify the warning signs of a fake invoice scam
🛑 use the Stop. Check. Protect. approach before making a payment
🔐 protect your personal and financial information
⚠️ know what to do if you have been scammed.

Australians aged 55 and over lost more than $147 million to scams in 2025. A reminder of how important it is to stay scam-savvy.

Developed in collaboration with Scamwatch, our new scam video course provides practical tips to help you stay one step ahead of scammers.
