Having an internal IT person is a great start. But one or two people can only cover so much.

Security monitoring, compliance, disaster recovery, strategic planning. These things matter, but they're hard to own when you're already flat out keeping the day to day running.

That's what co-managed IT is for. We work alongside your team, not instead of them. Fill the gaps, back them up, and make sure nothing critical slips through.

Already have someone internal who's good at what they do? Even better. Let's chat about how we can support them.

Cyber insurance isn't a substitute for good security. It never was.

Insurers are rejecting more claims than ever, and the reasons are usually the same. No MFA. Unpatched systems. Basic controls that weren't in place when it mattered.
The policy you're counting on might not actually pay out. It's worth finding out before something forces the question.

Not sure if your security baseline is where it needs to be? That's where we come in.

Your team might be one convincing webpage away from handing over their credentials.

Hackers are currently using fake Google Security alert pages to trick users into installing malicious web apps. Once installed, these apps can bypass multi-factor authentication and steal passwords silently.

The page looks legitimate. The branding looks right. That's the whole point.

This is why security awareness isn't a one-time training exercise. The tactics change constantly, and your people need to know what to look for right now, not what was relevant two years ago.

Make sure your team knows this one is circulating. [https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/fake-google-security-site-uses-pwa-app-to-steal-credentials-mfa-codes/]

There's an active exploit targeting Microsoft SharePoint right now. [https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/critical-microsoft-sharepoint-flaw-now-exploited-in-attacks/]

Attackers are using it to run remote code on affected systems, meaning they don't need physical access to your network to cause serious damage.

If your IT team hasn't applied the latest Microsoft patches yet, that needs to happen today. Not this week. Today.

This is exactly the kind of thing that slips through the cracks when nobody owns it. Patch management isn't glamorous, but it's one of the most important things standing between your business and a breach.

Your cloud drive isn't a backup.

When ransomware hits, it doesn't stop at your laptop. It syncs straight to your cloud and overwrites your clean data automatically.

OneDrive. Google Drive. Same problem.

A real backup needs to be completely isolated from your live environment. If you're not sure yours is, now's the time to find out.

Most businesses think about downtime as a technical problem.

It's not. It's a business problem.

Every hour your systems are down, someone can't do their job. A client can't get a response. A sale doesn't close. An invoice doesn't go out.

The technical fix might take 2 hours. The business impact can last days.

This is why proactive IT management matters more than reactive support. The goal isn't to fix problems fast. It's to make sure most problems never happen in the first place.

What if you could try an MSP before committing to it long-term?

That's exactly what the Affinity MSP Honeymoon Guarantee is. 90 days, no lock-in contract, full service from day one.

Think of it as dating before the wedding. If we're not a great match, you leave (we doubt it, though! 😉) Simple as that.

We believe your IT provider should have to earn your trust, not just ask for it upfront.

Quick question: if something went wrong with your systems at midnight tonight, what would you do?

If the answer is "wait until morning", that's a problem.

Downtime doesn't work business hours. Neither does Affinity MSP. The same support you'd expect on a Tuesday afternoon, we're giving you at 3 AM on a Saturday.

24/7 support, real people, real responses. Not a ticket queue and a prayer.

Most businesses are adding AI tools.

Far fewer are asking who actually controls them.

There's a difference between adopting AI and owning it. One makes you faster. The other keeps you exposed, dependent on vendors, and one outage away from a problem you didn't see coming.

93% of executives say controlling their AI supply chain is now a strategic priority. That number isn't a coincidence. It's a signal that the businesses taking AI seriously are thinking beyond the tools.

If you're building AI into your operations, the question worth asking right now isn't "what tool should we use?"

It's "do we actually own this?"

Moving to the cloud doesn't automatically make you more efficient.

Cloud sprawl is real, and it's quiet. A slightly higher invoice each month. A tool someone added and forgot. A service still running that nobody uses. Nobody made a bad decision. Things just grew without a plan.

The good news is it's one of the easiest things to fix once someone actually looks at it.

We've done audits where cleaning up a cloud setup saved enough to cover proper IT support for the year. A straightforward review, a clear plan, and suddenly the cloud is doing what it was supposed to do all along.

If your setup has grown organically over the years, it's probably worth a look. You might be surprised what's sitting there.
