🚀 Earlier this month, Sazoom was delighted to contribute to Cohort 1 of the StartSpace Business Fundamentals Program, with a workshop on Financial Planning and Commercial Viability.
The session focused on a practical challenge facing many early-stage businesses:
💡 How do you turn what you know about your customers, business model and operations into numbers you can actually use to run the business?
Working with the founders, we explored how revenue and cost drivers flow into a financial plan, how to think about contribution and break-even, why cash burn and runway matter, and how founders can test different commercial decisions before committing to them.
📊 The principle behind the workshop is also central to what we’re building at Sazoom:
Get the numbers ready faster. Put them to work sooner.
We’re building Sazoom to connect and automate SME finance — from the work required to get dependable numbers ready through to reporting, cashflow forecasting and informed action.
Because the goal of finance shouldn’t just be producing the numbers.
It should be helping business owners understand what is happening, see what is coming and make better decisions while there is still time to act.
🙏 A big thank you to Sherin Breuer and the StartSpace team for their work creating such a valuable program for founders, and to Sherin for organising the session.
And thanks to the Cohort 1 founders for making it such an engaged and practical workshop. It was fantastic to work with you all.
We’re excited to keep building alongside the SME and startup community. 🙌
