There’s nothing better than watching a good working dog doing what they love. 🐾

This is my Kelpie, Beryl. I grabbed a bit of slow-mo footage of her working a couple of big Merino rams.

She was taking her time and moving them steadily, as the boys were not too impressed about being taken out of the mob of ewes.

I honestly couldn’t imagine life without a Kelpie by my side. They’re tough, loyal, clever, and always ready to work.

I’ve been flat out rearing 700+ calves and building the app after hours whenever I can.

We’re finally starting to wind down now, with calves being weaned off and everything getting prepared for the next calving season, which kicks off at the end of July. This time we’ll be calving down another 1,600 cows.

While I’ve got a little bit more spare time, I can finally get the CALFM8™ app build moving along properly.

This app is being built from real calf shed experience, not from behind a desk. Simple calf records that actually work when you’re busy, tired, covered in milk, and trying to keep everything alive and on track.
