Competitive dog grooming is about as niche as it gets. Still this website made $9,298 in 3 weeks. No ads. No big following.
Here’s how.
Jazz runs The Pup Cup. Her old Wix site didn’t have payments set up, so pretty much every entry was handled by hand. 13 classes, 4 levels, seminars, merch, multiple entries per person. A nightmare to run manually.
So we rebuilt it on Squarespace as a proper entry and payment system. Pick your classes, levels, add to cart, pay, done.
Automated confirmations. Discount codes for multiple entries.
Then it launched.
63 orders and $9,298 in the first 3 weeks. 42 of them in the first 48 hours. Jazz woke up to an inbox full of paid entries and didn’t send a single invoice.
And here’s the part most people miss.
The design had nothing to do with it. The site made money because it was built to do a job. Make it as easy as possible to enter the comp, take the payment and send the confirmation.
Most websites just sit there looking nice while you do the work they should be doing.
If yours isn’t pulling its weight, you’re working twice as hard as you need to be.
