3 signs your computer might be about to die 💀
If your computer is doing THIS… don’t ignore it ⚠️

1. Slow boot speeds when it used to be fast 🦥
If you notice a super slow boot speed or a rapidly increasing boot speed, then it may be a sign your computer’s on the way out or needs some form of repair.

2. Overheating when you have good airflow and regularly clean dust 🥵
If your computer’s overheating despite good airflow and you cleaning the dust out regularly, then it could mean the components are struggling to keep up due to age and deterioration (which happens over time)

3. Random shutdowns, Blue Screens of Death, and ‘System Overcurrent Detected’ 😵
If your computer is randomly shutting down, throwing consistent BSODs (the blue screen with the sad face and an error code/description), or showing the hallowed ‘System Overcurrent Detected’ despite none of the standard solutions for that working, then it’s very likely your computer is experiencing major issues and is on its way out.

There are always exceptions, and if it’s just a slightly slower boot speed or slightly higher temperatures, or the very rare random shutdown/BSOD then it’s probably fine - these things happen occasionally throughout the lifespan of a computer 👍

But if all 3 things are happening, or any of them are happening to a very noticeable extent, then it’s time to start looking into repairs or replacement 😢

Slow computer? 👾🖥️ Try these 5 steps:

1. Check there aren’t a bunch of apps opening on startup
2. Limit the amount of processes and apps you have running in the background
3. If you’re gaming, make sure you have Game Mode enabled in the settings
4. Clear some space on your desktop background and storage drives (if you can)
5. Make sure your components aren’t throttling (limiting speeds and capacity) due to overheating

Before you buy a new PC… read this!

“My TV doesn’t have my streaming service!” 😡😭

There’s multiple reasons streaming services and other apps aren’t available on certain TVs, so here’s some things to check and try, and some workarounds if you can’t get them on your TV!

Things to try:
📺 Update your TV system - normally this is found in the TV settings (you can also check for firmware updates if there’s another option for that)
🏪 Check the app store on your TV (yes, that’s a thing TVs have now!) - sometimes the app isn’t preinstalled on your TV, but it’s available to be downloaded
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Make sure you don’t have any apps disabled or some form of family/child protection preventing you from seeing the streaming service or app you’re after - you should be able to check and adjust that in your TV settings
📀 Check what version of OS your TV’s running, then search up how to get the app on that TV with that OS - this is less involved than it sounds, because this is typically in the ‘about’ section of settings

If none of that worked, time for the workarounds!

Workaround 1:
Use a streaming box/device for your TV, like a Google TV Streamer, Roku Box, Fetch Mini Box, Amazon Fire Stick, and other similar devices - this option does cost a bit of money, but they all work in a similar way, allowing you to access various apps and streaming features you might not be able to on your TV 🔥

Workaround 2:
Laptop plugged into the TV with a HDMI or DisplayPort cable (this is clunky and not as intuitive, but hey, it works in a pinch!) 💻
