বিষয়ঃ ব্লকচেইন প্রযুক্তি
প্রায় সকলেই বিটকয়েনের(Bitcoin) নাম শুনে থাকলেও যে প্রযুক্তি দ্বারা তা চালিত হয় সেই ব্লকচেইনের(Blockchain) নাম আমরা অনেকেই জানি না। অবশ্য সেটি অস্বাভাবিক নয় কারণ আমাদের দেশে এই প্রযুক্তিটি একেবারেই আনকোরা। কিন্তু যারা কম্পিউটার বিজ্ঞান এবং নতুন প্রযুক্তি বিষয়ে নিয়মিত অনুসন্ধান করেন তারা জানেন কিভাবে এই প্রযুক্তি গুগল, মাইক্রোসফট, ফেসবুক, আমাজন, ইন্টেল এর মত বিশ্বের বড় বড় টেকজায়ান্টের ভবিষ্যতের হাতিয়ার হতে যাচ্ছে। এছাড়া তথ্য প্রযুক্তির বিষয়ে যেহেতু আমাদের সরকার অনেক সক্রিয়, তাই উন্নত বিশ্বের সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে কিছু দিনের মধ্যে এই প্রযুক্তি যে আমাদের দেশেও ব্যবহার হবে না তা কেউই দাবি করতে পারবে না। উল্লেখযোগ্য বিষয় হল জনপ্রিয় কর্মসংস্থান বিষয়ক ওয়েবসাইট লিংকডইনের(LinkedIn) জরিপে ২০২০ সালে সবচেয়ে চাহিদা সম্পন্ন (Most in-demand hard skill) হার্ড-স্কিলের তালিকায় শীর্ষস্থান দখল করে নিয়েছে ব্লকচেইন সম্পর্কিত দক্ষতা। এই তালিকার শীর্ষে আসতে ব্লকচেইন কিন্তু আর্টিফিসিয়াল ইন্টেলিজেন্স(উদাহরণঃ সোফিয়া, মাইক্রোসফটের কর্টানা), ক্লাউড-কম্পিউটিং(উদাহরণঃ গুগল ড্রাইভ, মাইক্রোসফট অ্যাজুর) এর মত অধুনা বহুল জনপ্রিয় প্রযুক্তি সমূহকেও পিছনে ফেলেছে। চলুন আজ আমরা জেনে নিই কী এই ব্লকচেইন, কিভাবে তা কাজ করে, আর কেনই বা আমরা এটি ব্যবহার করব।
ব্লকচেইন হল প্রচলিত ডাটাবেজ (Database) সিস্টেম এর একটি অসাধারণ বিকল্প, যার ধারণা প্রথম অবতারণা হয় Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System নামক একটি গবেষণা প্রবন্ধে। এটি ছিল বিটকয়েনের সূচনা। এর লেখক সাতোশি নাকামোটো (Satoshi Nakamoto) নামক এক বা একাধিক ব্যাক্তি যাদের পরিচয় এখনো অনিশ্চিত। আমরা প্রাত্যহিক জীবনে অফিস, আদালত, হাসপাতাল, ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্যের তথ্য রেকর্ড, পরিবর্তন ও পরিমার্জন করতে যে কম্পিউটার ডাটাবেজ ব্যবহার করি তার এক বা একাধিক প্রশাসক থাকে যাদের আমরা ডাটাবেজ এডমিনিস্ট্রেটর(Database Administrator) বলে থাকি। এই ডাটাবেজ এডমিনিস্ট্রেটর সংশ্লিষ্ট ডাটাবেজে যেকোন তথ্য দেখতে ও পরিবর্তন করতে সক্ষম, বাকি ব্যবহারকারিরা এই সুবিধাপ্রাপ্ত নন। এতে অনিয়ম, হ্যাকিং, তথ্য চুরি এমনকি হারিয়ে যাওয়ার ও ভাল পরিমাণ সম্ভাবনা থাকে। এখানেই ব্লকচেইন প্রচলিত ডাটাবেজ থেকে আলাদা। ব্লকচেইন মূলত এক ধরণের পিয়ার-টু-পিয়ার(P2P), বিকেন্দ্রীভূত (Decentralized), প্রায়শই প্রকাশ্য (Mostly Public), বন্টিত খতিয়ান ব্যবস্থা (Distributed Ledger System) যেখানে এর প্রত্যেক ব্যবহারকারী(একটি ব্লকচেইন ডাটাবেজে সংযুক্ত প্রতিটি কম্পিউটার, যাকে একটি Peer বা Node বলে) সকল লেনদেন(Transaction) এর একটি রেকর্ড সংরক্ষণ করেন যা কখনই পরিবর্তন করা বা মুছে ফেলা সম্ভব নয়। ফলে কোন প্রকার অবৈধ হস্তক্ষেপও অসম্ভব। আসলে একটি নতুন লেনদেনের অনুরোধ(এক একটি লেনদেনকে এক একটি Block নামে অভিহিত করা হয়) আসা মাত্র ঐ ব্লকচেইন নেটওয়ার্কে যুক্ত প্রতিটি কম্পিউটার একটি খুব জটিল গাণিতিক ধাঁধার সমাধান করার চেষ্টা করে(Mining), যাকে বলা হয় প্রুফ অব ওয়ার্ক (Proof of Work)। যেই একটি কম্পিউটার প্রথম সঠিক সমাধানটি দেয় তৎক্ষণাৎ সকল কম্পিউটারের সম্মতিক্রমে (Unanimous Validation) লেনদেনটি সম্পন্ন হয় যা একটি যাচাইকৃত (Verified) লেনদেন হিসেবে একটি চেইনে(Chain) যুক্ত হয়। এটি ঐ নেটওয়ার্কের প্রতিটি কম্পিউটারে সংরক্ষিত হয়। এভাবেই সৃষ্টি হয় একটি অনন্য রেকর্ড (Unique Record) যা একটি অনন্য ঘটনাও(Unique Event) বটে। এগুলোই সেই অপরিবর্তনীয় (Immutable) ব্লক/লেনদেন যার সমন্বয়ে তৈরি হয় এক একটি ব্লকচেইন। একটি মাত্র ব্লককে জালিয়াতি(Falsify) করার মানে হল পুরো একটি চেইনকে (যা লক্ষাধিক ব্লক বা লেনদেন নিয়ে তৈরি) জালিয়াতি করা; যা প্রকৃতপক্ষে অসম্ভব (Virtually Impossible)। গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় হল এই প্রত্যেক লেনদেন কিন্তু ফ্রি, কোন অর্থ মধ্যস্থতাকারী মাধ্যমকে দিতে হয় না (মধ্যস্থতাকারী মাধ্যম হল Uber বা FoodPanda এর মত প্রতিষ্ঠান)। এতে পুরো অর্থই পায় বিক্রেতা, যাতে সে কম মূল্যে পণ্য/সেবা দিতে পারে। এতে ক্রেতা-বিক্রেতা উভয় লাভবান হয়।
ব্লকচেইনের বৈশিষ্ট্যঃ
• ব্লকচেইন একটি নির্দিষ্ট ধরণের ডাটাবেজ।
• এর তথ্য সংরক্ষণ প্রক্রিয়া সাধারণ ডাটাবেজ থেকে পৃথক; ব্লকচেইন
ব্লকগুলিতে ডেটা সংরক্ষণ করে যা পরস্পরের সাথে সংযুক্ত।
• তথ্য আসার সাথে সাথে এটি একটি নতুন ব্লকে প্রবেশ করানো হয়।
একবার ব্লকটি ডেটা দ্বারা পূর্ণ হয়ে গেলে একে পূর্ববর্তী ব্লকের সাথে
যুক্ত করা হয়, ফলে তথ্যকে সময়ের অনুক্রমে (Chronological Order)
এক সাথে শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ হয়।
• ব্লকচেইনে বিভিন্ন ধরণের তথ্য সংরক্ষণ করা যেতে পারে, তবে এখন
পর্যন্ত আর্থিক লেনদেনের রেকর্ড রাখার জন্য সর্বাধিক ব্যবহার হয়েছে।
• ব্লকচেইন বিকেন্দ্রীভূত, এতে কোনও একক ব্যক্তি বা গোষ্ঠীর নিয়ন্ত্রণ
থাকে না - বরং সমস্ত ব্যবহারকারী সম্মিলিতভাবে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে। ফলে
স্বচ্ছতা বজায় থাকে।
• বিকেন্দ্রীভূত ব্লকগুলি অপরিবর্তনীয়(Immutable), যার অর্থ প্রবেশ করা
ডেটা অপরিবর্তনীয়। এতে ডেটার নিরাপত্তা রক্ষিত হয়।
এত ক্ষণ আমরা ব্লকচেইন কি এবং কিভাবে কাজ করে তা নিয়ে বলেছি, এবার আসি এর বহুমুখী ব্যবহার নিয়ে -
১. ব্যাংকিং ও আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান – ব্লকচেইন ব্যবহারের সর্বোত্তম স্থান,
যেখানে নিরাপত্তা ও স্বচ্ছতাই মুখ্য।
২. বিকল্প মুদ্রাব্যবস্থা - প্রচলিত মুদ্রার বিকল্প ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সি (যেমন
বিটকয়েন) ব্যবস্থার অনন্য এবং একমাত্র উপায় যা কোন সরকার বা
প্রতিষ্ঠান কর্তৃক নিয়ন্ত্রিত নয়।
৩. স্বাস্থ্য ব্যবস্থা – ব্লকচেইন প্রযুক্তি হসপিটাগুলিতে চিকিৎসার রেকর্ড
সুষ্ঠুভাবে সংরক্ষণে সহায়তা করতে পারে।
৪. জন্ম-মৃত্যু সনদ- জন্ম ও মৃত্যু সনদে জালিয়াতি বা ভুল রোধের
সর্বোত্তম মাধ্যম হতে পারে ব্লকচেইন।
৫. সম্পত্তির দলিল – বিশ্বজুড়ে সবচেয়ে বেশী কোন্দল ও অনিয়মের
ক্ষেত্র হল এই সম্পত্তির মালিকানার দলিল। যদি ব্লকচেইন পদ্ধতিতে তা
সংরক্ষণ করা যায় তা এই সমস্যাগুলির সমাধানে অভূতপূর্ব অবদান
রাখতে পারে।
৬. নির্বাচন – জাল ও ভুয়া ভোট এবং ভোট গণনার ক্ষেত্রে যেকোন
অনিয়ম রোধের অনন্য উপায় হতে পারে।
৭. পণ্য সরবরাহ শৃঙ্খল – শিল্পপতি ও ব্যবসায়িরা তাদের পণ্য সরবরাহ ও
মজুদের সকল রেকর্ড সংরক্ষণ করতে পারবে, ফলে তাদের হিসেবের
সুবিধা হবে, অভ্যন্তরীন কর্মচারিদের পক্ষে দুর্নীতি অসম্ভব হবে এবং
ব্যাংক ও সরকারের সাথে লেনদেন সহজ ও স্বচ্ছ হবে।
উপসংহারে বলতে হয়, ব্লকচেইন প্রযুক্তির সার্থক প্রয়োগ আমাদের সমাজ, সরকার ও আর্থিক ব্যবস্থায় যুগান্তকারি সফলতা আনতে সক্ষম। উন্নত বিশ্বে ব্লকচেইন প্রযুক্তিকে কিভাবে উপরে উল্লেখিত ক্ষেত্রগুলিতে সফলভাবে প্রয়োগ করা যায় তার প্রচেষ্টা অব্যাহত রয়েছে। আমাদের মেধাবি তরুণ প্রজন্মের উচিত এই সম্পর্কে আপডেটেড থাকা। এছাড়া সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে উচ্চশিক্ষা অর্জনকারিদের নিজেদের কাজের মাধ্যম হিসেবে বা গবেষণার বিষয় হিসেবে ব্লকচেইনকে গ্রহণ করার এই উপযুক্ত সময়।
