One of the biggest struggles for business owners is building a strong culture, and it starts with hiring the right people.
Last week, our CEO, Nahid Hasan, attended the 𝐕𝐈𝐏 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 hosted by GearLaunch, joining a room full of serious founders and top sellers.
It wasn’t just a dinner. It was a space for honest conversations around real business challenges.
He spoke about one topic that kept coming up again and again:
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰?
The reality is, most resignations aren’t random. They’re predictable.
People usually leave because of a few core reasons:
• Compensation
• Culture fit
• Company reputation
• Growth opportunities
• Personal reasons
Each reason requires a different solution. If someone leaves for a growth issue, it needs a different fix than a culture mismatch.
If growth depends only on a few individuals, it’s fragile. If it depends on systems, clarity, and culture, it becomes sustainable.
Hiring is hard. Retention is harder.
But it’s not unsolvable. It’s part of building a company.
