CandIT Media

CandIT Media CandIT Media International was established in 2009 and formed as a spin off from the Institute of Broadband Technology (IBBT) and VRT Media lab.

The VRT Media Lab was the research and development engine of the VRT Flemish Public Broadcaster, the laboratory of which CandIT Media have now taken over. Based in Ghent, Belgium with offices in the United Kingdom, CandIT Media are now using the findings of nearly 10 years of dedicated research into broadcast focused media workflows and their interaction with traditional IT elements (servers, netw

ork, storage) to help other broadcasters and production organisations to design and build highly efficient, linearly scalable media data centres. CandIT Media offers the only scalable file-based workflow and content delivery solution, designed exclusively for the rich media industry, that can guarantee streaming performance rates to nearly an unlimited number of clients without the costs typically associated with proprietary platforms.
