Our specialty is offering vintage sounds with modern features and infinite possibilities. Our pedals combine many years of experience and research on vintage pedals (including the study of a growing collection of originals), together with contemporary consistency, reliability, gear compatibility and lowest environmental impact possible. Yes, you’ll find many vintage tones here; but you won’t find

any old and rusty part, no unobtanium components, no “snake oil” talk, no parts full of lead or toxic materials, nothing like that. Nor you’ll find exact vintage circuits cloned/replicated inside our boxes, or digital stuff. Deep Trip is about vintage inspired tones, but not about old circuits or old compromises. All models are designed, built and tuned to my own tonal beliefs and ears. Honestly, that’s all I can offer: what I think that SOUNDS right. I don’t own any truth, all I have is the stuff I hear on the records and what I can come up with some apparently lifeless components. Du Menegozzo

Nossos pedais combinam muitos anos de experiência e pesquisa de pedais “vintage” (incluindo o estudo de uma coleção crescente de originais de época), junto com consistência contemporânea, confiabilidade, compatibilidade de equipamentos e o menor impacto ambiental possível. Sim, você vai encontrar muitos timbres antigos aqui; mas você não vai encontrar nenhum componente velho e enferrujado, nenhum material raro impossível de encontrar por aí, nenhum papo de fórmula secreta, nenhum componente cheio de chumbo ou elementos tóxicos, nada disso. Você também não vai ver circuitos antigos replicados/clonados com exatidão dentro das nossas caixinhas, nem coisas digitais. Deep Trip é sobre timbres de inspiração antiga, mas não sobre circuitos velhos e seus velhos problemas. Todos os modelos são projetados, construídos e afinados de acordo com minhas próprias crenças timbrísticas e meus ouvidos. Honestamente, é tudo o que eu posso oferecer: o que eu acho que SOA BEM. Não sou dono da verdade, tudo o que eu tenho é o som que eu ouço nos discos e o que pode ser feito com alguns componentes eletrônicos aparentemente sem vida. Todo o resto é timbre. É um overdrive/distortion com sustain pra cantar lindamente, mas também muita sensibilidade dinâmica pra alternar entre acordes intrincados de bossa nova e solos inspirados em Jimi Hendrix, ou seja, Pepeu Gomes puro!

No 💜 do pedal f**a o grande diferencial: equalização ativa (com um sofisticado circuito integrado pra áudio) com controle de frequência de médios. Ou seja, ao cortar ou acrescentar médios, você define a frequência com o k**b grande no meio do pedal. Versatilidade imensa! O pedal é tão eclético quanto o catálogo desse grande guitarrista brasileiro!

It’s an overdrive/distortion pedal developed with Brazilian guitar legend Pepeu Gomes that sings beautifully, but is also very dynamic to alternate between the bossa nova chords of Novos Baianos and the soaring Hendrix-inspired solos. That’s trademark Pepeu!

In the 💜 of Malacaxêta, the great leap: an active equalizer with a sophisticated audio-grade chip and dedicated mid Frequency control. You cut or boost the midrange with the “Mid Level” k**b and set the frequency with the bigger “Frequency” k**b in the middle.
Versatility is huge! It's as eclectic as his 50+ years music catalog, that covers rock, pop, fusion and much more!

TARIFFS UPDATE FOR USA PURCHASES

According to an Executive Order signed by the president of the USA in July 20th 2025, the local government will end the US$800 exemption for all imports (starting by Aug 29th 2025), meaning that every purchase from abroad will be subject to the tariffs imposed to each country of origin of the shipment. Brazil has been affected with 50% tariffs, as an attempt to interfere in our local judiciary system and free a former president from imminent imprisonement for his criminal activity.
There’s nothing we can do about that at the moment, so our pedals will automatically cost at least 50% more to all our clients and dealers located in the USA. We’ll try to work with our suppliers, dealers and freight providers to find a way to alleviate the situation by cutting costs if we can, but meanwhile, that’s how it is.
We’ve been selling pedals to the USA regularly for 18 years, with a huge fan base in the country, so we’re very sorry about all this and we hope it can be sorted out soon.
