Hey! 👋 Its been a while and I thought I’d introduce the creative behind CLiKK Photo Booth and give a little update 😊🎞️
😄📸My name is Nikki, legally Nicole, and I am the Chief 𝕊𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕖 Officer behind CLiKK Photo Booth. I started this company in 2015 during my masters program which was creative in nature so I got inspired. At the time, photo booths were not that popular in Canada and the US was where it was at. 😄📸
🌱I had previously been a part of a start up founding team in my undergrad for a company called uIntuition. Shout out to for an awesome learning opportunity and experience. We had a ‘live photo booth’ client for a Christmas party my part time work at the time. I needed to order a backdrop kit from Amazon for it and then was left with it so I began searching up “backdrop rental businesses”. The photo booth emerged! I hired a wood working student for my first photo booth which I stained and finished myself and then I joined a fb group that connected me to several professional photo booth business owners from the states. I met who helped me with my next 3 photo booths. I learned a lot from many of the photo booth business owners and implemented my learnings into my business. 🌱
✨Its been an awesome ride so far. Where is CLiKK Photo Booth now? I am exploring unpausing the business (it has been paused since COVID) and I am considering expanding into branding self serve photo booth kiosks for venues. I am now getting more into the event space after working with and am thinking its time to dust her off and get her up and running again, but new and improved ✨
