Your customer has items in the cart and they are one click from checkout. That is the single highest-intent moment in your store, and it is also your last chance to increase what they spend.

Most Shopify stores treat the cart page as a plain checkout step. The best ones turn it into their most profitable screen.

In our latest guide we break down 3 cart upselling tactics that work together:
🛒 A progress bar that shows how close they are to a reward
🎯 Product recommendations that close the gap
⚡ One-click adds, no popups, no friction

Plus reward-focused copy you can copy and paste, and a full video walkthrough.

Most upsells fail because they interrupt the shopping experience.

This new guide shows a better approach: product recommendations displayed inside the progress bar, matched to how close the customer is to a reward (free shipping, discount, gift). No intrusive popups—just relevant suggestions at the right moment.

Most Shopify stores show "Free shipping on orders over $50" and hope for the best.

Smart stores show customers exactly how close they are: "You're only $12 away from free shipping!" As they add items, the bar fills up. The message updates. The goal feels reachable.

That's what a progress bar does. And it takes less than 5 minutes to set up.

We just published a complete step-by-step guide with video tutorials at every stage:

Step 1: Install the app (free)
Step 2: Enable the embed (10 seconds)
Step 3: Pick your reward (free shipping, discounts, dollar-off, or free gifts)
Step 4: Customise the colours and messages to match your brand

No developer. No code. Just a visual editor.

Namkos Progress Bar is free to start with no credit card required. Paid plans unlock product page upsells, cart page recommendations, and analytics.
