TCEG Con is excited to announce Alberta's first Pizza Palate eating competition sponsored by Pizza 73.
Come on down and check out the action as 6 random teams from the audience compete to identify pizza toppings before the other team does. Winning team shares a $100 from Pizza 73 and the prestige of 2015 Palate champions.
Beware though as the toppings will get harder to pick out and guess wrong and you are also out.
Starts at 1:30 at our Hall B stage. Arrive early for best seating.

We will be providing proper Separate change rooms for both Male & Female cosplayers at TCEG Con 2015 for costume changes.
No more changing in the public Bathrooms!
Security will be posted at the door for your peace of mind.

As well, a FREE Cosplay Repair station will be available all weekend for last minute fixes for unexpected issues and mishaps.

Make sure to get your Pre-Reg in for the Canada Cosplay Championship soon as there are limited spots available.

Since we are SOOOO CLOSE to the Event - Less than 6 days AWAY!
We will be doing spotlights on all the gaming stores that are working with us throughout the event. We will post a different store each post and give you info on the games they will be offering at their area, as well as their location at the show.

ADVANCE TICKET PURCHASES AND HOW YOU GET YOUR TICKETS

There has been a lot of confusion as we are now quickly ramping up the amount of event passes being sold on our website as we are only 1.5 weeks away from the convention.
So to clear up the confusion and have everyone better informed I am posting this info.

When you place your order, you will automatically get a confirmation receipt and a download email. The download email should be ignored.

There is nothing to download.
The website payment processor e-commerce system we are using for the advance ticket purchases and game registrations automatically sends out a generic download email that is sent out immediately after you purchase. We have no way of turning that email delivery off, so please disregard the download message.

If you purchased event passes/game reg tickets prior to Sept 20th, then your passes/tickets will be mailed out to you on this Friday.
Should you not receive them in time before the event, bring your ID with you and we will give you replacement passes/tickets with no issue. We expect there may be a few advance purchasers that may not get them in time due to your geographic location, so we are prepared for this.
Follow the process below to claim on site.

Your event pass/game reg tickets if purchased after Sept 20th will be available for pickup at the event admission area at the entrance to Hall A in the Edmonton Expo Centre.
Look for the "PREPAID ADVANCE TICKET REDEMPTION" table to claim your already purchased event passes/ game reg tickets.
Our awesome staff will get you through quickly and get you your passes/tickets so you can enjoy the show asap!

You have made it much easier to get things organized for staffing and game brackets to help bring you the best event we can possible.

If you are reading this and have not taken advantage of the Advance Event pass promo price of $20 for 4 days, keep in mind you should do so before Oct 5 at midnight because all event passes go up Oct 6 !

Last call for Volunteers!
If you know anyone who wants to be involved with the event, or interested in volunteering this is your last chance!

There is a open call for our meeting at Northlands Expo Centre on Thursday Oct 1, 6:30pm for all those interested.

A light snack/refreshments will be provided for those volunteers selected.

We are excited the event is less than two weeks away, thank to all you are supporting us, and get your tickets soon as the price goes up on Oct 5.

Don't forget about our Awesome Super Mario Maker Contest at TCEG Con 2015!

Here's the rundown:
Think you can build it better than anyone else. Prove it and earn bragging rights by creating the best Level Up and BOSS levels on your WII U at home that you can before Oct 1, 2015. Submit screenshots of your best levels to our Website on or before Oct 1, 2015 to enter.

All acceptable submissions will get a FREE 4 day ALL ACCESS PASS to the TCEG CON and 2 FREE VIdeo Game Registrations for any game of their choice (non Bonus pot events).

The best levels for entires received Beginner (Child) and Adult (Expert) categories will be invited to compete LIVE on our Stage at Edmonton Expo Centre in our SUPER MARIO MAKER Timed Level Creator Winner Take ALL championship on Sunday!

Winners in each category will receive a $200 Best Buy gift card, a SPECIAL Mystery PRIZE from Nintendo and best of all, will have to pick up their custom made, one of a kind Super Mario Maker Championship trophy on Monday evening at our awards closing ceremonies!

WHAT PASS IS FOR WHAT
An All Access Pass is required to gain admission to the TCEG CON 2015 Vendor Tradeshow and the Gaming Arenas.

This pass is your general admission and pays for the event production.
Game Registrations are only for registering your spot for the Game you register for and do not grant access to TCEG Con.
Game registrations pay for prizing, Bonus pots, and game operations.

ADVANCE PRE-PURCHASE DELIVERY
Once you purchase an All Access Event Pass or a game reg on our website before Sept 15, there is NOTHING else you need to do. No download required.
We will be mailing out ALL Pre-purchased ADVANCE Event passes and Game Reg Tickets mid september.

EVENT ALL-ACCESS PASSES
The advance All Access pass for 4 days will only be available at the promo price online of $20/4 days until Oct 5, 2015.
Passes purchased online after Sept 15 - Oct 5 will need to be picked up at the Edm Expo Centre Show office at TCEG Con 2015 on Oct 9th.
On site day of passes will be $30/4days and $20/day.

GAME REGISTRATION
Game reg will only be available on site day of if space is available for the game/pool you want to play in.

Bonus Pot games where we are giving away tons of cash will probably not have many if any spots available to reg on game day.
Some pools have very limited spots left so if you plan on playing,
get your game reg in now to avoid disappointment.
