Curiate Group is officially here…

This project started with a lot of conversations around people. The pressure leaders carry behind the scenes, how disconnect can happen inside growing teams and how easy it is for businesses to lose clarity.

What Trina is building with Curiate Group goes far beyond leadership coaching or corporate strategy. The work is centred around communication, connection, self-awareness and helping organizations create healthier ways of working from the inside out.

So when she came to me for this rebrand I knew the brand as a whole needed to feel human first while weaving Trina’s incredible knowledge and magic throughout.

I also knew it would be important to stay away from anything overly corporate and instead build something that balanced strategy with intention through both the custom brand identity and Showit website design.

One of my favourite parts about the brand is the compass-inspired brand mark. It quickly became a symbol of direction, alignment and helping people navigate forward with more clarity and intention which ties deeply into the work Curiate Group does with their clients every day.

That idea also carried through into the entire website experience. The site was structured to guide visitors toward what will serve them best. It was important that the journey felt easy to move through instead of overwhelming or transactional.

The Curiate Group brand now feels aligned with the work behind it.

Projects like this are why I love creating strategic branding and website design for service-based businesses and female entrepreneurs

Sometimes the details within a brand don’t need to be loud to mean something. The chair started out as a small idea and ended up becoming one of the most defining parts of the August Edit Beauty brand.

It’s a nod to where this experience starts, in the chair. This is the space where the client sits, settles in and lets go as they prepare for one of the most important days of their lives.

Because that’s the heart of their work - artistry led by intuition, built on experience,
and grounded in the belief that beauty doesn’t need to be created - only revealed.

That spark is what lit up everything. Revealing that even smallest touch-points like a brand illustration can feel just as intentional as the work itself. Nothing is there just because or to look good. It all connects back to the experience and that’s the difference between a brand that’s styled and a brand that’s strategically built.

If you’re a beauty business or service-based brand and your visuals feel disconnected the strategy is where the shift happens.

I’m currently booking brand identity design and Showit website design for female entrepreneurs ready to build something that actually means something. Let’s turn your story into your strategy!

If you’d describe your website as fine, but deep down you know it doesn’t really feel like you - hear me out.

August Edit Beauty didn’t need more added to their brand or website. They needed things stripped back and realigned.

The old site wasn’t reflecting the level they were actually operating at. It felt a little generic, a little too bridal default and just wasn’t doing their work justice.

Because what they do is different. It’s about refining what’s already there - real skin/features and creating an experience where women feel like themselves, just more at ease in it.

So we rebuilt it from the ground up. Brand first…always.

From there we designed a Showit website that actually supports how they work with stronger alignment, more contrast, layouts that feel structured without being stiff and imagery that leads the experience.

Now when you land on the site it just clicks. It feels thought-through and easy to trust. And that matters because their clients aren’t looking for chaos. They want to feel taken care of and now the website meets them there.

If you’re a female entrepreneur and your brand + website aren’t matching the level you’re at anymore…that’s usually your sign.

I have limited spots available for May - DM me and I’ll send you the next steps so you can stand out in the chaos and connect with your dream clients!

The AEB monogram is one of those brand details that looks simple, but there’s actually a lot happening inside it.

Using the three initials was intentional because they hold the entire essence of August Edit Beauty without any extra noise which mirrors the way they approach beauty itself. Refined, thoughtfully edited and focused on what actually matters.

Every letter in the mark was shaped to connect into one continuous form so that nothing feels disjointed. The structure flows together the same way their artistry does - with instinct, technique and collaboration all working in sync.

The upward sweep of the A introduces a sense of movement which is a subtle nod to the beauty industry. The B curves into the form with softness bringing warmth and approachability to the mark. The E acts as the foundation adding structure, clarity and balance. Together the forms create a brand mark that feels both architectural and fluid balancing luxury with approachability.

The brand mark that is flexible for any application - from packaging to digital spaces. A small symbol with a story to tell.

If you’re a beauty brand or service-based business owner thinking about refining your brand presence - this is the kind of intentional work I love creating.

August Edit Beauty is officially here…

When we started this rebrand it wasn’t about changing who they are, but wanting to clarify it. The work has always been instinct-led and centred around experience.

Their brand needed to reflect that same depth.

At the core of August Edit is a belief that beauty doesn’t need to be created - it needs to be revealed. Their artistry refines what’s already there - real skin, texture and expression. Nothing is masked or over worked.

So we built a brand that carries that same energy. We made sure to step away from the overly feminine scripts and sugary bridal clichés.

Instead we leaned into refined typography, intentional spacing and a neutral palette that feels warm, mature and self-assured. Every detail reflects the way they work - precise, instinctive and deeply experienced.

This isn’t beauty shaped by trends - it’s beauty shaped by mastery. And now their brand finally feels like the level they’ve been operating at all along.

If you’re in that space where your work has grown but your brand hasn’t caught up yet this is your reminder - clarity changes everything.

One of my favourite parts of building the Sammy June Photography brand was designing her a mark and color palette that actually meant something.

The brand mark centers around a bird of prey. Not for dominance or to be dramatic, but for what it represents - awareness, perspective and knowing when to step in and when to let things unfold naturally.

That’s exactly how Sam works behind the camera. Observant, intuitive and never forces moments that don’t belong.

The tail of the bird was created as a nod to sun rays and the golden hour soft glow that shows up again and again in her work. Organic lines were used to keep it honest and raw while smooth curves keep it approachable.

Then there’s the color palette - grounded and warm.

Deeper tones add contrast and a sense of trust without ever feeling heavy. Warmer earth-leaning shades bring in that western-rooted energy that feels so true to her. Lighter accent tones introduce glow and warmth - the kind you feel at golden hour.

Colors pulled from real places and familiar textures - fields, dust, leather, trees and the sky right before the sun drops.

This is the kind of branding I love creating - thoughtful, intentional and deeply aligned with the person behind the business. Strategic brand design that actually supports how you work.

When Sam came to me she was feeling a little lost. Not in her talent, but in how to articulate what actually sets her apart.

She could feel her values, but putting it into words and visuals exactly what made her different? That part felt fuzzy.

So that’s where we started - we slowed things down and built this brand from both strategy + feeling - not from what everyone else in the photography industry is doing.

We let everything be guided by what Sam does best - creating experiences that feel stress-free, supported and actually enjoyable. The kind where people relax and just get to be themselves.

The rebrand is comforting, uplifting and easygoing with a visual system that feels grounded in something real. Just honest design for a photographer who cares deeply about how people feel during the process and not just how things look at the end.

This is what strategic branding looks like when it’s done right and when visuals finally match the depth of the work behind them.

Happy launch day Sammy June Photography - I truly loved every minute of this!

When visuals speak, people listen.

Before someone reads your bio, checks out your website or ever DM you - they feel your brand.

Your visuals are doing the talking long before you get the chance to explain yourself and if your branding feels scattered, outdated or like it belongs to a past version of your business - people notice. Not in a dramatic way, but just enough to keep scrolling.

Buttttt… when your visual identity is intentional? When your brand design and website design actually reflect how you work and who you serve? That’s when trust starts building and the right clients lean in.

Great branding feels confident - not chaotic. It communicates with clarity, consistency and confidence.

If you’re a female entrepreneur who’s ready for a brand and website that finally match the level you’re playing at - I’d love to help.

Send me a DM and let’s talk about creating a strategic visual brand identity that does the talking for you.

Let’s talk about the Daydream brand mark -

This wasn’t just a pretty symbol - it was designed to mean something.

At the center is a primrose - the flower tied to love, renewal and new beginnings in Scandinavian culture. A quiet nod to heritage, but also to what weddings really are.

The start of something lasting.

The larger bloom represents Nicole and her steady presence, leadership and the calm hand guiding the process.

The two smaller flowers below? The couples she creates magic with. Side-by-side and always people first.

Nothing here is accidental. The cloud-like shapes hint at the daydream - imagination, possibility and that head-in-the-clouds feeling without getting too literal.

The stems and leaves ground everything back down reflecting how Nicole holds a wedding day together with structure, trust and organization.

The entire mark leans into Scandinavian restraint - simple forms and purposeful lines. That restraint gives the brand room to breathe and space to grow through patterns, stationery, textures and future brand moments.

This is the kind of logo design that sets my heart on fire! It’s symbolic, thoughtful and most importantly - built to last. A mark that can stand confidently beside the primary logo or carry the brand all on its own.

Brand strategy, logo design + visual identity for a wedding planner who plans with heart and knows how to run a damn good day!
