Linn has launched their new 343 speaker! We were fortunate enough to visit the Linn factory and be treated to a sneak peak and listen.

Stunning speaker sonically and visually. Right off the hop the musicality and clarity is first rate. The poise and scale is impressive. Not to mention that very much like the 360’s, they disappeared in the room. No doubt these are going to be well received as world class, reference performers.

The speaker is lovely with just the right size to be considered compact and elegant. This is the first speaker to be designed around Linn’s new revolutionary Pistonik drive unit technology. Speaking to the enthusiastic designers at Linn, further portrayed the passion and experience that went into this new design.

We will have a pair on demo starting in November and we’d love to show them off!

Introducing the new Linn Bedrok. Bedrok™ for LP12 is the first-ever, plinth performance upgrade from Linn. Formed of orthogonal layers of beech placed under extreme pressure and heat to create an entirely new, solid and massive material, this engineered, ultra-dense wood has negligible resonance and superior acoustic isolation. Contact us at 705-691-6599 or 416-670-6747 for a demo.

The Bass System within 360 delivers lower frequency sound with more impact, efficiency and dramatically less distortion thanks to our new Power DAC technology. Built from the ground up, this new Linn technology combines DAC and amp into a single step – thus extending the digital path and reducing loss.

Power DAC is highly efficient, ultra-low-noise, and provides the perfect platform for driving the lower bass system in 360. When coupled with the prodigious excursion capability of the matched lower bass drive units, 360 produces seismic, realistic and distortion-free bass that will seriously move you.

Critical to 360’s sonic character, is the wholesale elimination of audible distortion brought about by the cutting-edge material science which drove development of the drive units, and their subsequent integration with our latest amplifier technologies in both the Bass System and new 360 Array.

360 produces exceptionally pure sound with astonishing clarity and transparency due to the hardness, great inherent strength, and low-mass of the futuristic materials deployed throughout the suite of drive units. Their diaphragms don’t colour the sound they generate in any audible, or measurable, way – you only hear the music.

When these acoustic and electronic innovations are deployed alongside our unique and established loudspeaker technologies – Exakt and Space Optimisation – 360 becomes audibly invisible.
