Training day at Peace Country Installations.

Today we had some of the new guys out getting some real hands on experience on a bigger install. We had a lot going on StarlinkX, a point to point wireless bridge between the house and shop, outdoor access points, PoE switches, networking equipment, exterior cabling, mounting hardware and everything in between.

We even stripped out some of the old, clunky equipment that was already on the house, removed the old hardware and cabling, cleaned everything up, re sealed the old mounting holes and put the new equipment in its place. Taking an older setup and completely modernizing it is always a good feeling.

It was a solid day of getting everyone familiar with the equipment, learning how we approach our installs safely and, most importantly, getting some real field experience.

I’m honestly really proud of everyone today. Watching the guys learn, jump in, ask questions and get their hands on everything is exactly what I want to see. We’re building a damn good crew, and days like today make me pretty proud of what Peace Country Installations is becoming.

Another big install in the books. Lots of gear, lots of learning and a hell of a lot of work from the whole crew.

A LOOK AT A RECENT INSTALLATION

August has been a very busy month for Peace Country Installations. With installations, rentals and plenty happening behind the scenes, the team has been keeping things moving.

As the owner heads down to Cranbrook, the team of five continues to keep everything rolling back home. We’re grateful for the people who continue to show up and keep things running day in and day out.

✈️ Looking forward to an amazing weekend at the air show!

We had the opportunity to receive VIP tickets to this weekend's air show, and we're incredibly grateful. It's exciting to be part of such an incredible community event and to support the people who make it possible.

We had the pleasure of installing one of our magnetic Starlink Mini mounting systems to give them reliable, high speed internet wherever the job takes them.

One of our customers reached out with a problem. They wanted internet in their cabin across the property but they definitely didn't want to pay for a second Starlink subscription.

Challenge accepted.

Instead of adding another monthly bill, we installed a high-speed point to point wireless bridge that sends their existing Starlink connection straight to the cabin. Fast, reliable internet without paying twice.

We also built and installed brand new outdoor rated insulated Cat5e cable, securely mounted and weatherproofed to handle everything our Canadian weather can throw at it from these blazing summer days to -40 winters.

Let's be honest... if you're still fighting with an old Bell hub, dealing with sluggish rural internet, or staring at one of those giant satellite dishes from 2008, it might be time for an upgrade. 😉
