** IMPORTANT UPDATE **

I will be suspending advertising and daily operations on August 5th. If you do not have my contact info, please reach out to me. Given that operations are suspended until further notice, please do not refer anyone to me until you run it by me first. If their issue is something I can fix within a realistic timeframe, then I'll give the green light.

Now dont get to down about it , In all honesty, I loved helping anyone I assisted. I met some great people along the way, and I learned a lot about service, repairs, and business things that I will keep forever. It was never my goal to keep Whits End Repair going long-term; it was only established to gain experience in a job field that offered very limnited resources to gain early knowledge.
As of now, I will be suspending Whits End Repair as an active operation seeking new clients. Not that I won't accept any, but I just won't be actively investing in it. I need to focus on my full-time work. Down the road, it's a possibility, but I would 100% need an employee.

So if anyone is interested in collaborating, let me know and we can figure something out. I’ll be keeping my HST number because I love the name and i look at this little biz as my baby now and wouild love to see a future for it.

Will have some business laptops for sale very shortly, ranging from $100-$140. They will have Windows 10 with a special version that won't end Windows updates come this October, so it's really good if you don't want to part with Windows 10 yet! Also, I will be doing migrations for this, so if you don't want to say goodbye to Windows 10 come October, I can download the enterprise version for you with licensing. That gives you security. I will offer this migration for a flat rate of $100, which includes the license until 2035—an incredible deal. Perfect for older folks who don't want to switch and potentially gamers; however, I don't know how stable games will run on that release after October. Hi, guys. I'm back for my week-long hiatus. I wanted to thank everybody for their patience while I was gone. And I'm sorry. I did take a week off to focus on my cybersecurity exam. If you're wondering how I did well? Uh, let's just say the week was not wasted. And my mark is posted below. These are the kinds of things that help me be better for View all so as much as I do this for myself. I do want to-do list as well. To make sure I give you guys the best of the best. Some big plans for this year.If anyone knows a project manager or anybody who is interested in possibly starting a charitable event, I will provide more details later so i'm back open also, another update, I wanted to express the um focus on more having drop off repairs at my house or having me. Pick up your unit a lot of the time. I've been finding when I do a outcall for repairs. I end up having to take the device home with me. Anyway, it just saves me more time. Obviously if there's certain arrangements where you can't, or if I can do it remotely, I can, but remotely does require a deposit every single time. Non-negotiable, but yeah, just again. So, something I've noticed so far while doing Windows restore for the past three clients is that all described instances where they took their computers to a shop to get their Windows restored for them. One even mentioned how I was a lot more pricey than one of my competitors, who was offering their services for only 60 bucks. However, when looking into how these restores were done, they were simply just initiated from the settings and rehashing the same OS, which, to me, isn't a proper restore. That won't fix all the issues that come along with that procedure; it’s better to reinstall a fresh copy and boot it from a USB. I thought this was standard practice. My guess is either 1) laziness or 2) guaranteeing they come back for that routine restore.

Let me tell you, all three of my customers were very happy with my install, and not only that, I provided them with software and tools to help prevent them from needing those restores as frequently. In the end, I would rather take pride in my work. I'd rather leave my clients' houses or hand them their refreshed PCs knowing they feel more comfortable and confident with their technology than before. I am here to solve the problems, not ensure they are replicated for profit, and that's the difference you get with my service.
