🚨 SCAM ALERT: Misleading Domain Renewal Emails

We've seen numerous businesses receiving suspicious invoices from DMS Canada (dmscanada.net), requesting payment for what appears to be a domain renewal.

One recent example requested $192 CAD and warned that non-payment would result in service deactivation.

Here's the catch: Buried in the fine print, the company states, This is an offer to receive notifications regarding your domain. We are not your registrar.

In other words, they're selling a domain renewal NOTIFICATION service, not actually renewing your domain! Paying this invoice does not renew your domain registration.

If you receive one of these emails and haven't signed up for this service:
❌ Do not pay the invoice.
❌ Do not click the payment link.
✅ Mark the email as spam and delete it.
✅ Verify your actual domain renewal date directly with your domain registrar or IT provider.

I've already reported dmscanada.net to its hosting provider for review.

These misleading solicitations can easily fool busy business owners into paying for services they never requested.

Please share this warning! It could save another business owner hundreds of dollars.
