We just launched Palmetto International Piano Festival's new website. This was a massive overhaul upgrading to a scrolling layout with some parallax on the Home & Festival pages, along with a new animation on the Home page that we created using their logo (that we also designed a few years ago for the festival's first year).

"Squarespace Developer Certification" might be one of the greatest grifts of this young century.

Imagine boasting that you are "certified" in making websites on what is literally a "Do-it-youself" platform that generates bloated code that can't ever be migrated, so clients are locked into paying Squarespace's high annual hosting fees (on top of paying someone to do what is essentially the web design equivalent of assembling their IKEA furniture for them)

Hire a real web developer folks.

Integrated + customized Instagram, Threads, and YouTube feeds on the Home page, but with all of that content (along with previews of the Schedule and Store pages) the page still comes in at only about 200 lines of HTML.

Try doing that with Squarespace or Wordpress, while having your website hosted for $74.99 🇨🇦 a year. 😉
