AI Elevation

AI Elevation We help entrepreneurs and small business owners move from working in their business to working in their business through AI and automation.

Our goal is to help 1,000 owners save 10+ hours per week. We build the systems. You focus on the business.

Two weekly tasks can add up to more than three hours.

Try the math on your own week.

The full exercise is in the webinar (link in bio).

Do you ever sit and wonder, “where did the hours go?!”

Sometimes it's a hard question to answer because it’s usually the small jobs and busy-work that eat up most of our time.

Everyone (including me) says that AI is supposed to help make you more productive and get your time back.

And it can, I promise!

But… before you pay for the next AI subscription, grab a piece of paper and try this:

Write down five tasks you do every week that feel repetitive, like following up on quotes or copying information from one tool to another.

Beside each one, write how many times a week you do it.

Beside that, write how long it takes, in minutes.

Multiply each row and add them up.

I recently recorded a free webinar where I talk about what’s keeping most business owners stuck when it comes to using AI.

Registration link for the webinar is in the comments!

Ever notice AI forgets what you told it last week (or last session)?

That came up at a recent AI Mastermind call. The memory built into tools like ChatGPT and Claude is kept small by design, because it gets carried into every new chat.

The approach I shared is a second brain, which is really just folders of small text files on your computer that you control. You can start with a short file about who you are and the businesses you run. When your AI tool has access to the files and you tell it to use them, it pulls in the parts it needs.

What would you want AI to already know about your business before you type your prompt?

Hot take: five AI logins isn't a stack.

I get how it happens. You try a chatbot, then a notetaker, and someone on the team puts the newest trending tool on the company card.

Pax8 surveyed 1,150 decision-makers at small and mid-size businesses for its Q3 2026 SMB AI Pulse. Among the businesses that paid for AI in the past year, 49% got at least one bill higher than they expected. Among the businesses using AI, 35% found tools, workflows, or agents running without approval in the past six months.

Before you subscribe to the next tool, take 15 minutes and list every AI login you're paying for. Next to each, write what it costs a month, who actually opens it, and what job it does. Where two tools do the same job, decide which one to axe.

Then name one person who signs off before anything new goes on the card.

Which AI tool are you cancelling first?

One of our rentals flooded a few months ago, and I met the insurance adjuster and a contractor at the property for the claim.

By the time I left, my head was full of who I'd met, what we agreed on, what I had to do next, and what to tell the tenant.

While I was driving I recorded a voice note and talked through all of it. AI turned it into a summary of the visit and put my action items on my to-do list. It also drafted an email to the tenant. Then I sent a photo of the two business cards I was handed, and both people went into my CRM with a follow-up email drafted.

Next time I'd like to record the whole visit, so I'm not relying on memory in the car.

After a site visit, what would you consider automating?

When I started AI Elevation, I didn't have a logo or a website, and I couldn't afford to hire someone to build a brand for me.

So I built it myself with the help of AI, a couple of hours at a time. It took about 6 to 8 hours of work spread over a few days, and the launch cost was under $100.

I started with the brand kit in Claude Design. Before it designed anything, it asked me who the business serves and how it should feel, so the logo and colours came out of what AI Elevation does. Then Claude Code built the website from that mockup and I set up free hosting using GitHub and Cloudflare Pages.

I put the full breakdown of hours and costs in a new blog post: https://aielevation.ca/blog/build-a-brand-with-ai

What's the one thing holding you back from building your brand yourself?

Saw this from a contractor running a second-generation family business. He's using AI on the admin so his team spends more time on job sites and with customers.

Scheduling is one of the jobs I hear about most from owners in the trades. Moving a booking around can mean a string of calls back and forth, and that time comes straight out of the day on site.

Who handles the scheduling in your business right now?

My content team has a few new members 😁

I've been testing Grok Bot on some of my content. One agent comes up with ideas, another writes the draft, and another pokes holes in the draft. They hand the work along, and it stops with me for the final edits and approval before anything goes out.

Handing off work means trusting it'll get done right without you watching every step.

What's one thing you'd hand off if you trusted the handoff?

If you use Jobber, this one's worth a look.

Jobber says its Teammate (in beta) can draft quotes and hold them for you to review.

So the quote you'd normally write at the kitchen table at 9 PM could be a draft waiting for you over coffee.

I set up something similar this spring for a lawn care client of mine in Winnipeg. It was for his phone, not his quotes, but it was the same principle. His Jobber account already had an AI Receptionist, so we turned that on instead of adding another app. It answers the calls he would have otherwise missed, takes down the caller’s details, and leaves the follow-up for him.

Before you buy another AI tool, check what the one you already pay for can do.

Are your evenings being eaten up by writing quotes?
