Hi,
This is RAASPI's Feb 2020 newsletter and I want to talk to you about two topics.
First about RAASPI's low cost customer payment options and then about how to detect whether an email is a scam or not.
A situation we often face is, you have been a loyal customer for a business or have been a long time member of an organization,
but sometimes, you get fed up with unnecessary delay or long line up. Do they take you for granted?
No body cares?
Truth is, most likely, they do care but assume that any solution will cost them a lot or may not even exists.
You can now tell them about a very cost effective solution by RAASPI app which can help them in 4 ways.
Shop and pay online using credit card.
Pay invoice online using credit card.
Take walk in payment for cash and cheques.
Take payment with card swipe or touch less card reader
This is just one of the 150+ functions a business or an organization can use to get a full web presence if they use RAASPI.
Next, you must have received at least once an email which seems to be from someone you know but is stranded somewhere and
needs some money. There are many variations of this and some of them are hard to be sure whether scam or not.
You can look at the email header and verify. The header is normally hidden but carries information about who actually send
how it reached you. For example in GMail, next to reply button there will option called More. Click on it and select original.
You will see information like ###.com and look at the bottom to see where it started. Most of the time the ### part will not
match the email address or the name will be obvious suspect, unless the scammer infected the senders computer using virus.
Most of the email clients will have a button you click to show the email header.
That's about it for now and be happy
