🎙️A MILLION STORIES. ONE MULTIFACETED WOMAN.

If you’re new here, welcome! Here’s a little glimpse into the woman behind the mic - the passions, dreams + experiences that make me who I am. 🌸

❤️‍🔥 Stepping into broadcasting reignited a fire in me I hadn’t felt in a long time. Radio + music have always been about more than a microphone to me - they’re about connection, community, friendship, generational roots + using your voice to make a difference.

So entering the Top Host Contest is my way of betting on myself + keeping the fire alive - owning my journey, embracing every layer of who I am, who I’ve been, + who I dare to be. One of my favorite women in broadcasting once reminded me that sometimes, you have to let people know your why. That wisdom stayed with me, + here I am - learning to trust my voice, honor my journey + make room for the woman I’m still becoming. ⚡

🚨 reminder: a woman being comfortable in her own body is not an invitation for you to feel entitled to it. There’s a difference between appreciating a woman’s beauty + believing her body gives you permission to objectify her. One is attraction, the other is entitlement.

The problem isn’t her body, or what she wears to the gym - it’s the way you think.

gathered, grateful + growing. 🤎
a little glimpse of our thanksgiving weekend, through the frames.

this weekend was a reminder to slow down, be present with the people we love, + appreciate the little moments that make life so special.

but there’s also something quietly rebellious about choosing to live with gratitude, authenticity, + intention in a world that’s constantly taking - land, ideas, cultures, perspectives, + even the ways we live. maybe part of the rebellion is questioning what we’ve been taught, honouring where things come from, being just as authentic online as we are in real life, + choosing to move through the world with a little more awareness, honesty, + respect for the things that were never ours to take.

this year, we did things a little different. choosing to decolonize thanksgiving - starts with acknowledging that the land we gather on is Indigenous land, looking beyond the stories we were taught, honouring our ancestors voices, + raising the next generation with a deeper understanding of the history behind the traditions we celebrate. we can love our families + cherish our traditions while still making room for truth, education, unlearning, + change; because gratitude also means understanding the history of the land we call home. 🧡

so here’s to having meaningful conversations, making memories with the people we love, + remembering that the most valuable things in life were never meant to be consumed, copied, or taken for granted. sometimes, the most rebellious thing we can do is live intentionally, love deeply, + stay true to ourselves. ✨

+ a very special HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beautiful Bella! 🎂 we have so much to celebrate + so much to love in this life.

happy thanksgiving + happy indigenous people’s day - may we carry a little more gratitude, compassion, + awareness with us long after the holiday ends. 🍁
