The next wave of AI agents is gonna be messy.
Teams will need to keep track of what these agents are doing as they start showing up across websites / workflows / internal systems.
Google touched on this at Cloud Next ’26 with its Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. It makes sense - once agents move into real workflows.. what can they access, what did they change, who approved it, and where's the record if something goes wrong? 😶
If AI agents are going to be useful, teams NEED to be able to understand, control, and trust them.
