Someone asked me recently why I don't share most of my design work on Facebook.

The simple answer is that the brands I work with don't permit their designs to be shared publicly.

When you're designing for a business, you're often trusted with things the public hasn't seen yet like campaigns that haven't launched, products that haven't been announced, internal marketing materials or ideas they're not ready to reveal.

Of course, every designer enjoys showing their work. We spend hours creating something we're proud of, and the natural instinct is to post it.

But sometimes, the most professional thing you can do is... not post it.

I've come to realize that not every project is meant for a portfolio, and not every good piece of work will end up on social media.

Some of the designs I'm most proud of will probably never be seen here.

And I'm okay with that.

So if you've ever wondered why my page isn't flooded with client work, now you know.

One day, if the brands give me permission, I'd be more than happy to share some of those projects with you.

I wonder how many of us are praying for things we can't handle with the version of ourselves we are today.

We ask God for bigger opportunities, more influence, more money, more responsibility, bigger platforms...

But what if the delay isn't because God is saying "no"?

What if He's saying, "Not yet."

Not because He wants to keep it from us, but because the person we're becoming still needs to grow into the weight of what we're asking for.

I've realized that some blessings don't just require faith.

They require maturity.

Discipline.

Wisdom.

Character.

The truth is, it's possible to receive something you've prayed for and still lose it because you weren't ready to carry it.

Maybe that's why growth often comes before increase.

Maybe the greatest answer to some of our prayers isn't an open door.

Maybe it's God quietly working on us behind the scenes so that when the door finally opens, we have the capacity to walk through it and remain there.

Sometimes the biggest upgrade we need isn't around us.

It's within us.

People receive hundreds of flyers every week. On WhatsApp. On Facebook. Stuck to walls. Handed out at bus stops.

The ones they respond to are the ones that make them feel something in the first three seconds.

If your flyer makes them feel nothing.

The program or product might be powerful but the invitation will fail to match the value of what is inside.

Your flyer is not just information. It is a feeling.

And the feeling it creates is the first thing that determines whether someone reacts or not

There are businesses that close down and nobody ever notices for months

Simply because the business had never built enough presence for its absence to be felt.

The shop is there one day and gone the next. And life on that street continues exactly as it had before.

No loyal customers asking questions. No community wondering what happened. No one missing what had been there.

Because the measure of a business is not just whether it makes money while it is open. It is whether people would feel its absence if it closed.

Would your customers notice if you disappeared tomorrow?
Would they look for you? Ask around? Feel the gap?
Or would life continue exactly as before?

A brand is what makes a business impossible to ignore when it is present — and impossible to forget when it is gone.

If your business closed tomorrow and nobody noticed for three weeks — that is not just a branding problem.

That is the most honest measure of how much presence you have actually built.

I want to talk about something that does not get said enough in creative spaces.

The fear of the big client.

Not the excitement. The fear.
That moment when someone with a serious budget, a serious business, and serious expectations reaches out — and something in you wants to refer them to someone else because you feel you don't have what it takes to handle them.

I have been there.

I remember the first time a client sent me a brief that felt too big for where I thought I was.

The budget was the largest I had seen. The brand was known so the expectations were high.

I spent two days convincing myself I was not ready. That someone more experienced should handle it.

That if I got it wrong it would ruin everything.

Then I took the job anyway.
Not because the fear left. But because I decided the fear was not a sign that I was unqualified.

It was a sign that I cared deeply about delivering something worthy.
I delivered. The client was happy. And something shifted in me after that project.

I had evidence.
Evidence that I could do it.
You do not wait until you are confident to take the big client. You take the big client and confidence follows the delivery.

Every designer reading this who has been sitting on an inquiry because it feels too big here's your sign to espond to it.
