TOPIC: YOUR TRUE SHELTER

Psalms 91:9-10 (KJV)

⁹ Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
¹⁰ There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Are you born again, then be of good cheer, you did the right thing. Now you are in christ and He is your everlasting hope, your true and secured dwelling place. This is the heritage of all God's children even you.

You see dear saints of the most high God, your shelter is not that building you live in, your comfort is not that bed in the room you sleep on, neither can your father,mother, brothers and sisters, nor friends and relatives can be your refuge. See this:

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” — Psalms 146:3 (KJV)

Our confidence and focus in such things and people will never stop destruction from coming. But one thing gives us confidence, safty and assurance as we walk through this life-and that is the most high God(Christ) being our habitation. Glory hallelujah!!

Many will rush into their houses for security and lock up their door when the street is in trouble, but in Christ carry our house everywhere we go because we know that no evil can befall us, neither shall any plague come near our dwelling. Praise God!!

Lastly, no matter what is happening in the world don't be afraid as a child of God, you are in the most secure house impenetrable by evil. Take a look into Proverbs 12:21:
“There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.”

TOPIC: An Imperishable Inheritance

1 Peter 1:3-5 (KJV)
³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
⁴ To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
⁵ Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Believers have a glorious inheritance reserved and protected for us in heaven. We all want to feel safe and secure. But whenever we base our sense of security on the things of this world, we can expect to be disappointed. This is especially true when it comes to our finances. That’s why remembering our eternal future is so important.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that believers have an inheritance that cannot be stolen? It was given to us when we placed our hope in Jesus Christ and won’t ever be taken away because it’s reserved and protected for us in heaven. Someday, when we see Jesus face-to-face, we will receive and then forever enjoy the fullness of our inheritance.

But did you know that every day we live on this earth, we have an opportunity to build up that inheritance by investing in the things God values? That’s what Jesus was talking about when He said, “Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (Matthew 6:20). Whenever we live righteously and obey God, we’re adding to the treasure that awaits us.

Are you more concerned with investments in this life than with everlasting riches? It is very easy to let daily demands and responsibilities overshadow the importance of building eternal prosperity. Take time each day to refocus your mind and heart. Then start storing up wealth of lasting value.

TOPIC: Rebuke that Storm.

Luke 8:24 (NIV)
The disciples woke him up, shouting, "Master, Master, we're going to drown!" So Jesus rebuked the wind and the raging waves. The storm stopped and all was calm!

As you live the fullness of life given you by God in Christ, remember there are always going to be stormy moments, moments of great trials and temptations. Today we see Jesus Christ and His disciples, moving ahead to another level in their vision and are caught up in a great trials, challenge and difficulty. Their adversary came against- aimed at stopping them from advancing in life- but Jesus knowing who he was and full of faith, rebuked the challenge and they moved further. Praise God!

There are many adversaries trying to stop you from advancing in live. When you identify them, just like Jesus Christ did, rebuke them with full faith and move ahead-knowing that you have the same faith, authority and power Jesus have. Let's read this:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John 14:12 (KJV)

To rebuke mean to forbid
Don't take the position of the disciples in the ship and begin crying, but rather the position of Jesus Christ and forbid any adversity from holding and stopping you. Know for sure that you are in Christ, one with Him-and you are his representative here and now. Take a look at this:

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as HE IS, so are WE in this world.” 1 John 4:17 (KJV)
Read Luke 9:1.

TOPIC: The Home of God

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”— John 14:23 (KJV)

It's common to say God lives in heaven of which it's a statement of truth. However, it's important to also know that God is not limited to live in a specific place. Many do know heaven is a place somewhere out there, as such when identifying where God is they, look up to the sky.

Today, let's go beyond that statement. The physical dwelling place of God now is anyone who believes in Christ. Our today's passage says God abode in those who believe in Jesus Christ. Abode here speaks of a home-meaning the day you became born again, God the father, Son and Holy Spirit made you their home. Glory!! This is the extent to which God loves you.

Home here is little different from temple as in 1Corinthians 6:19. Temple means a shrine-a place where spiritual or physical sacrifices are offered. Temples are visited and use momentarily, people only go to the temple when they want of offer prayers and sacrifices- but a home is where people stay all the times and have all things in common. Praise God! 2 Corinthians 6:16 present the believer as both God's temple and home. Hallelujah!

“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
— 2 Corinthians 6:16 (KJV)

Lastly, every home is well taking care of by those who leave in it. They clean and renew it when it seems dirty. So God does same to you His home. Praise God!

TOPIC: Our Firm Foundation

“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”
— Isaiah 28:16 (KJV)

Those who find their security in Christ can stand firm and be at peace when troubles come.

The Lord has ways of shaking the world when He is at work. He literally caused the ground to quake when Jesus died on the cross (Matthew 27:51), and Hebrews 12:26 describes a time to come when the earth will undergo a similar display of His power and presence.

Likewise, God often lets the foundations of our personal world be shaken—whether through financial difficulties, family crises, or difficult diagnoses. If we’ve built our life on human wisdom, pride, conditional love, or the like, things may look good for a while but will collapse when storms hit.

Adversity affects everyone, yet we can have peace in knowing that God has a greater purpose for us . Hard times can shake believers out of apathy and self-focus, reminding us not to trust in ourselves or the temporary structures of this world. There is only one secure foundation: a genuine, deep relationship with Jesus Christ, which will carry us through anything. No matter what storms are raging all around us, we’ll have a solid footing if we stand in His love.
In Christ you become an immovable mountain. This should be your consciousness, thoughts and meditation. Take a look at this:

“(A Song of degrees.) They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” — Psalms 125:1 (KJV)

Though our trials are challenging, we as believers are blessed with the security of a firm foundation. We also have the responsibility and honor of helping others to become strong in God’s grace (2 Timothy 2:1). Be a living message of hope to those around you today.

TOPIC: Be Willing to Understand what you Hear

St. Luke 8:18 (NLT)
So be sure to pay attention to what you hear. To those who are open to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But to those who are not listening, even what they think they have will be taken away from them."

Jesus spoke a parable to the Jews and His disciples sort to know the clarity of His parable (Luke 8:4-15). This showed that they were very open to the teachings of Jesus even when they had no understanding. Jesus saw their willingness to understand what they hear as those who have-as such it will be added to them. This was eminent when we say their works in the book of Acts of the Apostles.

In the other hand, those who are not willing to understand Jesus's teaching, even what they think they already know will be taken away from them. Meaning the foundation of increase is the willingness to understand. Therefore it's a clarant call for all believers to pay attention to what we hear by seeking to understand so we can receive more.

A willing heart receives understanding and is established in the truth. See what Isaiah the prophet said:
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:”
— Isaiah 1:19 (KJV)

TOPIC: Conquering Fear

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
— Romans 8:28 (KJV)

All in Christ are called according to God's purpose-as such, seek to discover His purpose and enjoy His love. The God of the universe offers constant love and care to all who trust Him. Anytime you face anxiety, pause to ask yourself the following questions: Has God ever failed me in the past? Does He promise to meet all of my needs? Does He keep His promises?

If we read the Bible, we’ll find countless stories of God’s faithfulness to those He has called. For example, the apostle Paul lived through persecution, pain, and all kinds of terrible circumstances, yet he was able to make the bold declaration that God weaves it all together for the good of His followers

This testifies to the fact that for those who trust in Him, God turns every difficulty, loss, and separation into something beneficial.

Whatever we read in Scripture—whether it’s a story about Abraham, Sarah, Job, Hannah, David, Isaiah, Jonah, John, Paul, or others—we see God’s constant love and care for His people. See what Isaiah the prophet wrote concerning this:

“Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in LOVE TO MY SOUL delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.” Isaiah 38:17 (KJV)

The love of God for those He calls goes beyond sin. When you meditate in God love for you all fears vanishes. Take a look at this.
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”1 John 4:18 (KJV)

DECLARATION
Thank you father for calling and loving me this much. Your love is giving me boldness to face all difficulties and prevail in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Glory!!! hallelujah!!! victory!!!
