On August 29, 2024, UVLOOK made an appearance at the 2nd National Conference on Meteorological Tourism Development, following an invitation from the China Meteorological Administration Public Meteorological Service Center. The event, held in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, was organized by the China Meteorological Administration Public Meteorological Service Center, the Guizhou Provincial Meteorological Bureau, and the Anshun Municipal People's Government. It served as a significant platform for collaboration between national meteorological service units, local governments, and various cultural and tourism-related enterprises.
During the conference, UVLOOK officially signed a cooperation agreement with the China Meteorological Administration Public Meteorological Service Center, showcasing their innovative 'Sun-Safe Travel' tourism meteorological service unit. This cutting-edge application, aimed at empowering the tourism industry through meteorological media, was jointly initiated by the China Meteorological Administration Public Meteorological Service Center and the National Early Warning Information Release Center.
The project also received strong support from sunscreen brands such as Mistine, BioreUV, and Yoshido.
Recently, Biore's customized sunscreen unit has been installed and put into use at the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, attracting over 5 million visitors annually. Similarly, Mistine's customized sunscreen unit has been installed at the Hangzhou Xianghu Tourist Resort, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Zhejiang Province with an annual footfall of over 7 million.
These installations not only serve as excellent platforms for brand promotion but also provide essential sun protection education and suitable sunscreen products for visitors. By displaying high-level warning information and UV intensity forecasts on the unit's screen, visitors can take appropriate measures to protect themselves from the sun. Furthermore, the provision of a variety of sunscreen products tailored to different scenarios and demographics not only meets the personalized needs of visitors but also enhances the refinement of tourism services.
UVLOOK's collaboration with the China Meteorological Administration Public Meteorological Service Center signifies a significant step towards promoting safe travel through their expertise in ultraviolet imaging technology. This not only realizes the value of eco-friendly products but also elevates meteorological services to a higher quality and diversity, injecting new vitality into the tourism industry.
