Our mission is to work behind the scenes, supporting the government personnel who show up every day to serve their communities and carry out critical missions. That work only has meaning because of the men and women who sacrificed their lives to protect the freedom that makes it all possible.

We’re proud to share that our Director of Human Resources, Courtney Eck, recently participated as a panelist at the Eastern Panhandle SHRM (EPSHRM) event, Mastering the HR Department from 1 to 100: Minimal Resources – Maximum Output.

Courtney represented Corinth on the panel, sharing real‑world insights and answering questions from the perspective of an HR department of one—covering how to prioritize, navigate challenges, and maximize impact with limited resources.

Thank you to EPSHRM for hosting a thoughtful and practical discussion, and to fellow panelists for a great exchange of ideas. We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to conversations that support and strengthen the HR community.

We were proud to support local job seekers at the Workforce Development Career Fair on April 7, 2026, hosted by the Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce.

Our Director of HR spent the afternoon reviewing resumes, offering personalized career advice, and sharing practical tips to help attendees strengthen their job search and professional growth. Events like this are a great reminder of the impact employers can have by investing time in the community and supporting workforce development.

Our Director of Human Resources had the honor of traveling to the West Virginia State Capitol to witness a historic moment for our profession – the passage of Senate Resolution 51, officially designating February 26, 2026, as Human Resources Day in West Virginia.

This resolution recognizes the vital work HR professionals contribute every day – from safeguarding workplace well‑being and supporting organizational culture to navigating the increasingly complex challenges facing today's workforce. It also highlights the evolving role of HR as new technologies, workforce trends, and strategic demands continue to reshape our field.

We are incredibly proud that she was present for this meaningful moment, celebrating the impact of HR professionals across the state.
