With the data from the first Deutsche Bahn Personenverkehr strike, we can estimate the waiting time in the current days as well. Therefore, we recommend passengers commuting via Berlin Central Station to prepare themselves to wait extra 6 minutes on top of the usual 10 minutes of wait 💆

And to make sure the delay does not take you by surprise, we have prepared a list of things you can do in those additional 6 minutes:
⏱ read 6 pages of a book
⏱ burn 45 calories by walking along the platform
⏱ create a backstory for people around you
⏱ finally answer that message, which is in your inbox for weeks already

Meanwhile, we have no recommendations for passengers traveling via Berlin Alexanderplatz Station because their waiting time remains unchanged 🎉

Question: What does Deutsche Bahn Personenverkehr strike mean for MOTIONTAG?

Answer: An opportunity to understand how our app users behave when they cannot commute with DB trains 🤓📊

Our data shows that due to the strike, out of 23 percentage points decrease in train usage, 15 percentage points were compensated by biking, while the rest of the passengers switched to cars 🌿

As a greentech company, we are glad to see such numbers, and would also like to thank the good weather conditions and Berlin cycling infrastructure 👏

● Shape and design marketing and communication actions with your own out-of-the-box ideas
● Work with the management team to deliver a content plan and execute it
● Write blog posts around the mobility topic and stay consistent in producing
weekly/monthly content
● Develop and host webinars with market leaders of mobility (clients and partners)
● Reactivate potential leads using our CRM (Hubspot)
● Network and pitch MOTIONTAG at meetups and startups events across Europe

Your profile
● First experience in marketing, communications or PR through previous internships or working student activities
● Currently studying, or recently graduated from higher education in marketing, communication, business, or similar field of study
● Good command of MS Office or Google Workspace
● Professional proficiency in German and English
● Experience working with a CRM (Hubspot or similar) is a plus
● A good networker that is driven to grow the business and think out of the box
● Love to learn and share knowledge
● Driven, reliable, good level of self-organization, team player!
