That is why we are delighted to welcome Juri Stobbe as the new Group Head of AI at Hyand.

His focus is on deploying AI in real-world business environments: by linking models, tools and technologies with operational processes, efficiency goals and measurable results.

With years of experience in technology, retail and energy, he brings a perspective that bridges the gap between technical possibilities and actual business needs.

In our international teams, we work in English—but many of our colleagues go one step further. At Hyand Lithuania, teams are learning German, and it shows: smoother meetings, more natural conversations, and stronger connections with colleagues and clients.

Masca, an event with a clear message: raising awareness about mental health and authenticity.

Last week, we were guests at Masca — the Ball of Authenticity.

At Hyand, authenticity isn’t just a concept—it’s an integral part of our daily collaboration. Supporting Masca was therefore a natural choice for us.

The funds raised will benefit .freedom.cj. The organization supports patients during chemotherapy. Through conversations, breathing techniques, and simple tools for everyday life.

The evening itself brought together diverse perspectives on the topic of authenticity, complemented by an art exhibition, music, a light show, and many wonderful guests. Above all, the event raised awareness of the issue.

We appreciate being part of an initiative that aligns with our values and helps support people.

We started the day with a Romanian-style breakfast to welcome Fabian — fresh spring treats and lots of good vibes. ☀️

Then things got competitive: bigger teams, louder debates, and one goal — the Golden Cup of Wisdom 🏆
After a mix of confidence and guessing, Team Powerpuff took the win!

Plus, a few team-building questions made it even more fun and helped us get to know each other better 🌍

🧠 HyQuiz Premiere in Romania!

Our team in Romania launched the very first HyQuiz — with Razvan as Quiz Master and a shiny golden trophy waiting for the winners. 🏆

From general knowledge and pop culture to music and creative challenges, the evening had it all. And just when we thought we had it figured out, a surprise team round tested how well we really know each other. (Turns out… not everyone knows your favorite movie 😉)

The competition was close, the energy high, and the laughter nonstop.

For the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we’re proud to spotlight three Hyand colleagues and their journeys into the world of COBOL

👩‍💻 Ilona Szałaj | Hyand Poland
Ilona started her career directly in a COBOL environment and grew step by step with the support of her team. Today, she develops international logistics systems that warehouse employees rely on every day.

👩‍💻 Danguolė Norvaišaitė | Hyand Lithuania
Danguolė began in IT as a recruiter before joining Hyand’s COBOL Bootcamp and switching into development. She now works as a Junior COBOL Developer on an international automotive project.

👩‍💻 Roksana Studzińska | Hyand Poland
After years in customer service, Roksana transitioned into IT and discovered COBOL through mainframe application support. Today, she works in an international team supporting critical systems and continues to expand her expertise.
