🇩🇿 Proud moment for Algeria’s cybersecurity ecosystem!

This year, we are proud to support 8 outstanding Algerian students participating in the international Positive Technologies Hack Camp 2026 in Moscow, a prestigious cybersecurity and ethical hacking program that brings together more than 80 young talents from 20 countries worldwide.

Out of over 800 applicants, having 8 Algerian participants selected is a remarkable achievement that deserves to be celebrated 🌟🎉.

We were particularly honored by the presence of His Excellency the Algerian Ambassador 🇩🇿 to the Russian Federation 🇷🇺 at the opening ceremony today, demonstrating his commitment to empowering the next generation of Algerian cybersecurity talent.

🌍 Celebrating Algerian Innovation at Startup World Cup Algeria 2026 🇩🇿🚀

Although a few days have passed, we would like to congratulate the organizers Algerian Startup Ecosystem Community ( ASEC ) of the successful first edition of Startup World Cup Algeria 2026, a remarkable event that showcased the strength and diversity of Algeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Deeptech Innovation Hub (DIH) was proud to be represented by three members of its Board, including one serving on the competition jury. It was an honor to engage with outstanding entrepreneurs and witness the remarkable quality of startups competing for the opportunity to represent Algeria on the global stage.

Congratulations to Lara Inc., which emerged as the National Champion among the Top 15 Algerian startups and will proudly represent Algeria at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco.

Lara perfectly illustrates the transformative potential of AgriTech, one of DIH’s strategic verticals. By combining AI-powered disease detection, advanced plasma seed treatment, electromagnetic soil conditioning, and atmospheric water generation, Lara is redefining how technology can improve agricultural productivity, resilience, and sustainability. Their vision goes beyond software optimization—using deep technologies to create and enhance essential natural resources—is exactly the type of innovation that can shape the future of food security in Algeria, Africa, and beyond.

On the sidelines of the Batimatec Expo Innovation Forum, dedicated to the role of startups, incubators, accelerators, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in transforming industry, the Deeptech Innovation Hub (DIH) proudly signed an acceleration agreement with Mooshir مشير, one of ’s PropTech startups.

🚧 Innovation Meets Construction

DIH was proud to participate in the professional forum “Opening the way to Startups: Facilitating Innovation Access to the Construction Market,” organized by Batimatec Expo at Dar Al Djazair in Algiers.

The presentation of the 10 startups finalists of BatimInnov and the panels discussions confirmed a strong momentum toward integrating startups and emerging technologies into the construction sector.

Our chair Imane Benkhelifa, presented DIH’s unique venture-building, acceleration, and technology transfer model, designed to connect research, startups, and industry to accelerate innovation commercialization.

The strong interest expressed by business leaders, construction companies, and entrepreneurs who recognized the value of integrating startups into their innovation strategies reinforces our belief that is key to building smarter, more sustainable, and competitive industries.

Many exchanges opened the door to future collaborations, pilot projects, and technology partnerships.

A Meaningful Conclusion to Our STANDOFF 17 Mission

The final day of the Algerian delegation’s mission in Moscow concluded with the honor of being received by His Excellency the Ambassador of Algeria to the Russian Federation at his official residence—an iconic historical mansion that stands as one of Moscow’s architectural landmarks.

As the Algerian delegation to Moscow led by Deeptech Innovation Hub (DIH), we were grateful for His Excellency’s warm welcome, insightful exchange during a curated lunch, and continued support for initiatives that contribute to Algeria’s technological development and digital sovereignty.

Day 2| From Inspiration to Action: Visiting Skolkovo Innovation Center & Skoltech

The second day of the Algerian delegation’s participation in 17, led by Deeptech Innovation Hub (DIH), was dedicated to exploring one of Russia’s most remarkable innovation success stories: Skolkovo Foundation Innovation Center and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech)

More than a technology park, Skolkovo is a living innovation ecosystem—a model where research, entrepreneurship, venture capital, industry, and government converge to transform ideas into globally competitive technologies. Today, it supports more than 5,000 startups, has created over 118,000 high-skilled jobs, and generated more than 704 billion rubles in annual revenue in 2024, demonstrating the tangible impact that innovation can have on a nation’s economy.

The Algerian delegation 🇩🇿 had the opportunity to discover how specialized services, acceleration programs, technology transfer mechanisms, investor support, intellectual property assistance, and university-driven innovation are seamlessly integrated into a single ecosystem that empowers entrepreneurs to scale breakthrough technologies.

The visit to Skoltech, one of the world’s leading young research universities, further highlighted the importance of connecting world-class scientific research with industrial needs and entrepreneurial ambition—a philosophy that resonates strongly with our own vision.

As we walked through Skolkovo, we could not help but see the similarities with the mission we are building at Deeptech Innovation Hub (DIH). While each ecosystem has its own context, the underlying principles remain universal: fostering , , connecting with , facilitating , and creating an environment where ideas evolve into impactful businesses.
