We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Beihang University and Huawei Enterprise, marking an important milestone in China–Europe university–industry collaboration. 🤝
Beihang University and UPV are both leading institutions in science and technology. Beihang is one of China's premier universities, renowned for its strengths in aerospace engineering and information technology, while UPV is widely recognized as one of Spain's and Europe's leading technological universities.
This new partnership builds on strong and longstanding collaborations. Huawei and Beihang have been working together for several years, and in 2020 signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement that aligned Huawei's engineering and technological needs with Beihang's strengths in fundamental research and talent development. Huawei's collaboration with UPV has also evolved from individual projects into a broader digital transformation partnership, laying a solid foundation for deeper cooperation in research, innovation, and talent cultivation.
The signing of this MOU represents a significant step forward in strengthening trilateral cooperation, fostering deeper integration between academia and industry, and creating new opportunities for innovation, talent development, and international knowledge exchange. As a pioneering model of cross-border collaboration among leading universities and a global technology company, this initiative provides valuable momentum for the high-quality development of the Hangzhou Campus and serves as a benchmark for building a globally connected, future-ready educational ecosystem.
