Bfarm-Tech at Global SME Ministerial 2025 – Johannesburg, South Africa

An Eye-Opening Journey to China with African Digital Innovation Accelerator Program!
I’m incredibly honored to have participated in the African Digital Innovation Accelerator Project in partnership with Alibaba.com and ITC, which took me on a transformative journey to Beijing and Changsha.
This experience was a game-changer for me as a startup founder—filled with eye-opening learning sessions, powerful networking with top Chinese companies, and exposure to groundbreaking digital innovations.
Key takeaways from the journey:

✅ Strategic market entry for SMEs
✅ E-commerce, logistics & Belt and Road opportunities
I had the privilege of representing Bfarm-Tech at the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, and successfully completed the Belt and Road SMEs Entering China Seminar organized by AIBO under MOFCOM.
I proudly shared Africa’s digital agripreneurship journey, showcased our innovations, and formed strong partnerships with leading Chinese agritech companies—paving the way for exciting future collaborations between Ethiopia and China!
We also visited the EYEA China Office in Changsha, connecting with passionate changemakers working to empower young Ethiopian entrepreneurs and promote inclusive growth through international partnerships.
And yes! we were featured on CGTN, where we promoted our mission and the impact of our work!
To top it all off, we explored some of China’s most iconic landmark like the Great Wall and the Temple of Heaven and immersed ourselves in the country’s rich history, culture, and technological innovation.
Huge thanks to Alibaba, ITC, MOFCOM, AIBO, Overseas Home, and all the amazing partners who made this incredible experience possible. The journey has just begun and I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve next!

A Week to Remember: Building Impactful Partnerships at AgriTech Symposium 2025

We were truly honored to represent Bfarm-Tech
at a transformative gathering co-hosted by TRAIDE Foundation, Orbit Innovation Hub, and International Trade Centre (ITC) — uniting over 100+ key leaders shaping the future of Ethiopia’s AgriTech ecosystem.
🎤 Our CEO proudly joined the panel discussion on "Youth and Young Women as Change Agents in Agricultural Innovation", sharing our work in inclusive, digital agriculture.
🤝 A major highlight was spotlighting our impactful partnership with BIOleaf, where we’re actively reducing post-harvest losses through affordable, farmer-focused technologies — advancing our mission to connect smallholder farmers to mechanization, agri-inputs, and climate-smart advisory services.
🌟 We had the privilege of engaging with Ambassador Deriba Kuma, Director General of the Ethiopian Agricultural Authority, who acknowledged our commitment to inclusive AgriTech solutions.
🚀 We also pitched our scalable vision to Mr Aschalew Bekele a forward-thinking investor passionate about agriculture-driven transformation.
💡 We’re especially excited to officially announce our new partnership with Ron Yakir — a visionary innovator from Israel in sustainable agriculture and post-harvest solutions. We’re thrilled to begin this important journey together!
