Wee Nuls HOT TAKE 🔥

About recent mural 'Rangers lead the Way' painted in Carrickfergus last week.

I have loads more to say about this and the context of street art, political murals, and graffiti in the north, as well as the proposed meaning behind the mural..but I'm limited to a 3 min timeframe so I may have to come back again haha.

Would love to open up some conversation below.

Some questions I would love the answer to are:
What was the budget for this?
What was the community engagement and design sign off process?
Why was the CIT fund used for a mural depicting military imagery, weaponry, destruction and violence if it's meant to assist communities away from paramilitary activity?

What are your thoughts on this??
