Having issues with the WiFi on your ASIAir device? I have spent some time testing various antennas on the market and have found a suitable replacement for the original screw on antenna.

Providing twice the signal strength over the original, this 6dBi antenna should help fix most issues.

Rigel Systems Quick Finder Heater

This heater module has been designed specifically for use with the Rigel Quick Finder. The module affixes to the finder on the plastic just above the glass viewing window using the attached double sided tape and when powered, delivers a small amount of heat to the window stopping it from fogging up on 'dewy' nights.

The unit runs from a 12v DC source and can be purchased with and without power cabling and various connector options. Current draw at 12v is 0.1A (1.1 Watts).

Well, I can let you know if there are any...

If you're fed up of heading to bed due to cloudy skies, only to find out that it cleared during the night, or you're tired of hearing how great last night was from your friends whilst you were in the land of nod....

Then make sure you subscribe to this free service. It's fully automated and will notify you by text message if it clears during the dark hours.

I'm not sure if I mentioned, it's FREE!!!

The service will operate between the 21st and 30th September 2019.

To subscribe, send me a message or text with your mobile number and arrival/leave dates and i'll add you to the system. If you want to give me your pitch number (optional) it will enable me to come and say 'hi' if I'm passing.

Otherwise, you can come and see me on Red 379 during the above dates, or look for Dew Control down traders row on the main Saturday.

The boring GDPR bit...

Mobile phone numbers are not used for any other purpose than to text the owner of that number when the sky is clear.

Your number is only kept for the duration of your stay at the campsite and only whilst Dew Control are present on site (whichever is sooner), after which your number is removed from the clear sky detector.

Paperwork which holds information on the duration of your stay and your mobile number will not be recorded or backed up and will be completely destroyed by shredding, either once Dew Control leave the campsite or, the last remaining person to sign up for the service has left the campsite (whichever is sooner).
