Say hello to a fresh, new logo for Caterham Festival 2023.

The Chairman of the committee wanted to freshen things up for 2023, using a palette that reflected the Caterham Seven colours and a butterfly motif, as the Festival's emblem has always been the Chalk Hill Blue butterfly of the North Downs.

The logo needed to work on clothing, merchandise and across print and digital.

As much as sans serif fonts are on trend right now, this serif font seemed to suit the project better – I opted for Optima Novo. I added a lighter green to the Caterham Seven colours to update the look.

I offered a number of different layouts and the committee chose this, along with it's landscape alternative. It's currently being rolled out on socials, the website and print, with t-shirts and pint glasses next in line!
