by Stoneman is officially a 2026 finalist for Best Website Design Business at the The UK Small Business Awards!

Considering I started by Stoneman simply because I enjoyed building Squarespace websites and thought I could offer local businesses something better, seeing the name on an award certificate still feels slightly surreal.

Over the last couple of years I've had the chance to work with some brilliant businesses, build a portfolio I'm genuinely proud of, and turn what started as a side project into a proper business of my own.

There's still plenty I want to do with by Stoneman, but this feels like a pretty decent moment to stop and appreciate how far it's come.

Plenty happening behind the scenes at by Stoneman at the minute.

A few Squarespace websites recently wrapped up, a few more currently taking shape, and some new projects lined up that I'm looking forward to getting stuck into.

One of my favourite parts of this job is how different every project ends up being.

One week I'm working on a website for an events business, the next it's language training, dance classes, trades or something completely different.

Different businesses, different audiences and different goals, so the website shouldn't just be the same template with a new logo dropped on top.

I'll be sharing a few of the projects I've been working on over the coming weeks, along with some older favourites from the portfolio too.
