It’s launch day!

The first of our PowerBI college dashboards is now available for demo and to our existing colleges and training providers.

Kudos to the team for putting this together and we’ve already had some fantastic customer feedback after an early preview.

This first PowerBI dashboard focuses on Attendance and Punctuality.

Get a holistic, interactive view of your college attendance from high-level summary to individual students.

Identify learners at risk and monitor week trends.

Get a grip on peak absence trends to enable your Attendance monitoring teams to target problem areas.

It’s fair to say we are quite excited, but it’s head down and onto the next dashboard “Application to Enrolment” to launch ahead of what is the busiest time for most colleges!

What’s the most time-consuming thing you will do today?

The senior leadership team have requested an accurate picture of the current college position in terms of recruitment, progression and applicant journey towards conversion.

It’s budget time for most and delivery for the next academic year is thoroughly into planning. Looking at resource usage, feasibility of delivery and potential new provision coming online is key.

Got a sweat on yet thinking about those excel spreadsheets combing information pulled from curriculum planning tools, your application data and MIS?

We’ve been report writing and developing dashboards for our clients for many years from the mainstream FE MIS and peripheral products.

Standardised reporting isn’t a huge wish, at the core of the information needs of most FE colleges they are common.

This has driven our own desire to build PowerBI dashboards to cater for these business information needs.

We enjoy giving back to the FE community and by extending our reporting templates from the suite of Microsoft Report Builder products to include PowerBI based products we plan to continue making our customers morning inbox a little more palatable.

Our summer scheduled releases:

- PowerBI Attendance Dashboard (15th May)
- PowerBI Application to Enrolment Dashboard (early July)
- PowerBI College Performance Dashboard (early September)

Whilst students across the country begin their half term holiday, leadership teams will be busy implementing the full reopening roadmap for their colleges.

There will be no let up from "business as usual" and this will only be putting more pressure on leadership teams. As we approach what would in normal times be exam season, we reach a critical part of the academic year for all. Now is the time to ensure you are recording data in the most optimum way possible.
