One of our business customers bought this laptop in for repair today as it had gone extremely slow that the user was unable to carry out any tasks!

We took a look at this and noticed that there were a lot of malicious activity in place including install of a fake Web browser that looked very like Chrome.

The system was absolutely corroded with malware and unfortunately the customer had not backed up their important files as hardly anything was working even the mouse failed to move at times.

We managed to recover all of the data stored on this laptop and saved it externally on a USB.

The laptop was fully formatted and a clean version of Windows 10 was installed with the activation and the latest version of office 2019 and AntiVirus.

All data was then restored on to the fresh system and everything worked perfectly.
