Thank you to everyone who came along this afternoon to our Book Swap for a Cause, supporting Circle of Comfort Charity. I’m grateful to the charity team for organising a wonderful bake sale and providing such brilliant tombola prizes.
Circle of Comfort Charity offers complementary therapies to people in Fife and Perthshire who are living with the side effects of cancer, and it was a real pleasure to support the incredible work they do.
Would also like to extend many thanks to:
- Sew Together Sewcial Club for their kind donation of beautiful corner bookmarks for people to take home
- Christine of Archie’s Tales Books, who very kindly stepped in at the last minute to be our storyteller
- Irene Duncan for generously offering her help making coffee / tea
- The 39th Fife Scout Group Sc007504 for joining us and collecting all the leftover books for their own fundraising (as well as the remaining bookmarks)
- The staff at Abbeyview Community Hub for all their help with setting up and clearing the room
