Like many projects, here is another website in progress for Sign Company Aberdeen. Rather than waiting until every last detail is complete, we’ve launched the site so customers can explore the services on offer while the site is still being built behind the scenes.
Sometimes it’s better to get your business online, start rebuilding your presence and continue developing as your business grows.
This project includes a fresh new design, improved navigation, service pages and more! Watch this space 🌐 www.signcompanyaberdeen.co.uk

Over the past few weeks, I've had the pleasure of working with the incredibly talented photographer, David Ashley, redesigning and expanding his website to coincide with the opening of his latest exhibition, which begins today and runs for one week.

18th to 26th July. 57 Crovie Village. If you’re around then please do pop in!

One of the highlights of the project has been creating a dedicated online space for 57 Crovie, a collection inspired by the unique beauty and character of the historic Aberdeenshire fishing village. Alongside this, we've launched a brand new online shop where visitors can browse and purchase a selection of David's fine art photography.

It's been a busy few weeks behind the scenes, designing new pages, building the online shop, adding product options, improving the user experience, and making sure everything was ready for launch. Seeing it all come together has been incredibly rewarding.

I love helping small businesses, artists and independent creatives create websites that not only look beautiful but also work hard for their business.

Congratulations, David, on the opening of your exhibition. Wishing you a fantastic and successful week!

Can people tell what you do in seconds?
If not, you’re likely losing enquiries.
It’s something I’ve been refining recently, even on sites I’ve built.

Small tweaks, big difference.

I’ve been working on a few updates recently.

Nothing major, just refining what’s already there.

Things like:

• making the message clearer
• improving where buttons sit
• bringing key info further up the page

It’s interesting how often small tweaks can make a site feel completely different.

I recently made a few of these changes on a client’s site, and they mentioned they started seeing a bit more activity coming through shortly after.

Nothing drastic, just small improvements that help the site do its job better.

Most websites don’t need starting again, they just need a bit of refinement.

Happy to take a quick look if you’re not sure about yours 👍

Worth thinking about if your site’s been a bit quiet..

16/04/2026

I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately and there’s a reason for that 😊

I’ve been spending time training and learning more about website conversion (basically, how to turn website visitors into actual enquiries and clients).

It’s something I’ve always cared about, but I wanted to go deeper so I can help my clients get better results from their sites, not just something that looks good.

If you already have a website but feel like it’s a bit… quiet
(no enquiries, no calls, no real action), it might not need a full redesign, just a few strategic changes.

If that sounds familiar, feel free to drop me a message and we can have a chat about it 👋
