Urban Pirate

Urban Pirate Scottish tshirt designs with a Scottish heart. http://urbanpirate.scot Urban Pirate was born in Glasgow in 2010.. We hope you like it!

We are a small (but perfectly formed) independent crew who specialise in uniquely designed printed textiles of the highest quality. OBSESSED with Scottish culture, old and new, our style is a brew of street culture and Scottish history influenced by the AWESOME imagery and landscape that surrounds us. The result, is a range of textiles and clothing that proudly shouts about the quality of homegro

wn design. Our tees are hand screen printed by traditional methods and our aprons, tea towels and bags are made from the highest quality organic quality which is ethically sourced. Despite the Pirate himself having size 13 feet, we strive to keep our carbon footprint as wee as possible. Everything we print is made locally in Glasgow or in the UK. We recycle packaging where we can and try our best to rid the world of the dreaded carrier bags...even on rainy Glasgow days and yes, that means a lot. Our emphasis is to provide consistent quality, not quantity. We don't want to be a massive multi national decepticon skyscraper firm....we'll leave that to those who look good in suits.

The T-shirt of the day is a unique one as it’s been discontinued and I’ve only one got one left (at the time of writing).

The Scottish Passport was inspired mainly by the 2016 Brexit Referendum, but also in part from the Scottish Independence Referendum in 2014. Scotland voted to remain part of the EU. But as we are part of the United Kingdom and England voted to leave, we had to go.

We’rel a strong believer in the country of Scotland and that we are we have our own culture, identity and moral beliefs. As such we should have our own passport. The design is an altered version of the existing UK passport, the lion has been replaced with a stag and the Unicorn has been unchained.

Hopefully we’ll see this realised for real in the very near future…

They’re new, but not…kinda.

Our caps (and beanies) have had an upgrade with the new Skull icon. Same great organic cotton made better with added badassery. (As shown by the bonus Jinty content in the last slide…)
