Urban Pirate

Urban Pirate Scottish tshirt designs with a Scottish heart. http://urbanpirate.scot Urban Pirate was born in Glasgow in 2010.. We hope you like it!

We are a small (but perfectly formed) independent crew who specialise in uniquely designed printed textiles of the highest quality. OBSESSED with Scottish culture, old and new, our style is a brew of street culture and Scottish history influenced by the AWESOME imagery and landscape that surrounds us. The result, is a range of textiles and clothing that proudly shouts about the quality of homegro

wn design. Our tees are hand screen printed by traditional methods and our aprons, tea towels and bags are made from the highest quality organic quality which is ethically sourced. Despite the Pirate himself having size 13 feet, we strive to keep our carbon footprint as wee as possible. Everything we print is made locally in Glasgow or in the UK. We recycle packaging where we can and try our best to rid the world of the dreaded carrier bags...even on rainy Glasgow days and yes, that means a lot. Our emphasis is to provide consistent quality, not quantity. We don't want to be a massive multi national decepticon skyscraper firm....we'll leave that to those who look good in suits.

Gotta love a new tote. Orange and grey will be available online soon!

Peebles Highland Games!

Down in the borders for this ‘highland’ games. The usual fare with the heavy events and races. This games also has a pipe band competition, so we ll be listening to bagpipes all day.

We’ve also decided to release a brand new Highland Games tee…just as we reach the end of our season. When inspiration strikes!!

Birnam (and Dunkeld) Highland Games!

We’ve only been doing this games for a couple of years as we’re normally at another event, but the calendar dates aligned and was able to get along to the Highland Games. Don’t think I’ll give it up. Caber tossing and haggis eating, what else do you need?

Oban Highland Games

It’s the first time we’ve attended these games and I don’t know why? Well, we’re here now and ready to rock! Suns out and everything is getting set up for a glorious day by the looks of it. Factor duffel-coat on!! ☀️

It’s Strathardle Highland Games day!!

However it’s not actually in Strathardle (which as far as I’m aware doesn’t exist and a ‘place’) This is another first timer for us, we’ve had quite a few news games to attend this year. Only because there have been a few events that no longer exist and the calendar has let us. :)

It also an agricultural show, so plenty hairy (and not so hairy) beasties on display. :)

Welcome to Nairn!

It’s Highland Games day in Nairn. It’s also the first time we e attended this one so let’s see how we go. Not only do they have the games, but they’ve also go a massive fairground to go with it. So we might not be surrounding the ring but we’ll have plenty to entertain us with folk sh*ting themselves on the big rides. :)

It’s Ballater!! Another midweek Highland Games.

This one is ALWAYS busy. I think people turn up on the chance they might see royalty…not just us, obviously. (It’s happened before, we met the King.)

All the usuals for a Highland Games, pipers, heavy events, races, hill running….and today, heat! (It’s bloomin roasting which hopefully will make up for the thunder storms last year.)

This is event 4 of 5 in two weeks. Quite the full-on time of the month.
