To achieve real RESULTS for your firm on social media, you've got to:

→ Be Honest: People connect with people. Embrace the highs and lows of your business to show real authenticity. Everyone has tough days, and sharing yours helps you connect with others. So, shine a light on your team and the real you – don’t just sell on social media.

→ Be Understanding: Many clients find accountants intimidating and mysterious. For instance, not everyone understands VAT. Creating a safe space for people to ask VAT questions (and everything else!) without judgment is invaluable for community-building and attracting clients on social media.

→ Be Committed: It's a mindset shift. Social media can deliver ROI, not solely act as a bit of fun. When you integrate it into your business development efforts, you'll find the time and energy to make it count.

You don't need a fancy strategy to start. As Grace Hardy wisely puts it, "Throw yourself in the deep end".
